I still put pen to paper lol! Love writing a list… Happy New Year once again. Have not formulated a plan for this year… been concentrating on getting msn burned hand healed and it’s looking better now… in the pink of new skin. Lovely to see you Iwan. I’m glad you had a good Christmas and your cooking. Lots of folks sick in my circle of friends and family. Years ago I used to pull threads and hand stitch around the threads to make those holes in the runner… it’s called hem stitching. It was taught in school years ago and by hand, no sewing machine so now I’m giving my age away….lol I love this blue shirt on you, it’s such a great color blue. Nice insert for travel . New rules for carry on bags this year. I believe they start in May but could be wrong. Those slipper socks look great, not a favor of the rubber on bottom but those look smaller and close together so they might not be so bad as what is on ladies. I chuckle at the dog tracing bit for you to use with the cats.🐈 I’ve avoided and shopping. But stayed home and did a bit of cooking. Have a lovely week ahead. Ohhh, yes! Are you aware that there is a Free Museum at All Hallows by the Tower Church? It’s minutes from The Tower of London. You go into the Undercroft of All Hallows by the Tower Church and go down the stairs, there you’ll find Roman Flooring, Saxon stuff and other interesting things. It would be fun to have you go and check it out and maybe include Luke. It’s full of history. 🥰🍾🥂🙏🏻🌹🥳

Kitcheners stitch to the rescue! You'll achieve a perfect joining with it. (I also prefer bottom up as decrease is prettier imo.)

Merry Christmas! I am trying to learn this stitch and I am struggling with the foundation row after the first foundation row. Is it 5 double crochets over each scale? Please help!❤

Hater logged on: First off you're an excellent teacher and the presentation is great. Could you please slow down 2 or 3 of your stitches so it doesn't look like a mantis strike. Because this is a beginner beginner topic and I really need you to sloooowww down with your fingers for just a second. Also, that cake baking music intro makes my insulin spike. Is this a knitting circle where we start by each eating two cups of cake with chocolate coffee frosting, ahh thank you Monica for baking cake for the group, I already feel dehydrated from the 74 degree living room and the 2 cups of coffee, aaaaggghhhhh. I'm knitting to chill out. No glockenspiel bells please in your music. How bout 3 seconds of baying llamas as the sound intro or some wind chimes, feminine mystique, that would be so much chiller. These two points aside, you're direct and to the point and have great camera work, clearly an expert knitter and I'll def watch more of your videos. thanks, it's all good

The technique is genius, but this video demonstrates Emily Ocker so that I finally got it! But please, knitters, use bamboo double- points. (I have bought Chaio Goo for many years, hardened bamboo, sharp points for sock yarn . . makes a difference you'll be grateful for.) The slick metal needles shown in the video are triggering. 😅

This is a nice video I have watched. I was kindly asking if you can show me how I can diy make a similar loom with available materials here in Africa or perhaps sending me a quotation on how much one of such looms can cost me.Regards from Zambia.

i am working on a patch work blanket (you may be familiar with if i recognize your name) and this is so much more succinct a way of joining the pieces. Now that i have something that makes visual sense explained clearly i can finish the blanket project.
