Thank you. This seems to be the best solution to jobless knitting I’ve seen. Doing a hat and it’s looks better than all others using different techniques. Wonderful!

Thank you so much for these instructions on jogless stripes. Your instructions are easy to understand. It really helps to wrap all the way around on the 2nd round to prevent getting a hole in your work. Now off to making another hat! Thank you again

thanks for this tutorial ... this makes a lot of sense and your camera focus on the wrapping of the yarns was very helpful .. I always struggle with changing colors because I sometimes end up with a small gap as in your video ... I will try this tip (thumbs up) 👍🏽👍🏽

I have been struggling for two days with this 21 color slouch. First time knitting a hat, much less with color changes. I have holes and it was making me bananas. You've explained it quite eloquently yet simply enough for me to understand why this happened, and how to prevent it further up the hat.

After the second row do you continue to wrap the old colour around the new one on the third and fourth rows or do you do nothing?

How about if you only knit one round of a color before you change to a new color?

is there any yarn strands in back from picking up yarn below? I want my hat to be clean on inside and my yarn is super stretchy it unravels easy. would be better doing this way instead of cutting each time

I feel it makes more since to simply slip the first stitch of the new color knit wise instead of purl wise. I feel you get a better transition this way oppose to slipping it purl wise. Try it, you will notice a difference.

When I join in the round there is a little gap at the start ever time. How do I get rid of that?
@theknottyoaktree10175 жыл бұрын
cast on an extra stitch and then when you join knit that extra stitch together with your last stitch to join in the round.

Would you be applying the same technique knitting in the round in 1x1 rib?
