Never heard anyone mischaracterized Puyallup so greatly... not friendly, very crowded, traffic is horrific, and crime is up. It pretty much has all the downsides of a larger city without any of the benefits

I live in sumner

Lived in Sumner for about 11 years after spending 10 years up the hill in Bonney Lake. I always felt safe in both places. HOWEVER! The cost of real estate was, in my opinion, always too high in Sumner. Bonney Lake was much more affordable. The small town charm of Sumner tho was always nice. And the joint BL/Sumner school district was pretty decent, my son spent his entire time from kindergarten to High School there. It was a nice place to raise kids. Lots of convenient big box shopping just up the hill in BL. Pierce County so slightly lower property taxes. LONG commute to most Boeing sites with the exception of the Auburn plant where I was lucky enough to work at for a few years. Auto vehicle theft???? Put your darn cars in your garages, people! Do you know how many people I see that fill of their garages with JUNK so that they can't park their cars inside? STUPID. I garage my car, no vehicle theft.

Not sure how I ended up here, but I'll give my 2 cents (12 due to inflation). I'd bet money that there were other businesses investing in the area before Starbucks, and Starbucks saw this, made a decision based on the potential of more traffic, and then opened in that area. I'd say that we call it the "Starbucks Effect" because it's the most recognizable brand in these areas. So there's a lot of investment in the area, we all just only recognize starbucks consistently

Move to Puyallup if you want a 30 minute commute each way just to get to 512. Roads are wholly insufficient and it will never get better thanks to geography and over building.

Exactly I live in the south hill area and yes from 512 daily to work is a hassle and just building new apt complex and houses all the time like sheesh

This isn't a video about Puyallup, this is a talking head trying to sell something. Misleading.

Hello. Do you think that there are any myths to the Starbucks Effect?

I know it’s so sad…a lot of bad things are now happened in sumner…it’s people from Tacoma and spanaway coming to take advantage of the small town peaceful atmosphere where that behavior is unexpected..the local Fred meyers has lost more than 15 million in theft and that was recorded in September so it’s higher now…My grandfather was born in Sumner in 1934 and his mothers side of the family lived in sumner since the early 1900s..I just heard there was a major crime at the local winco last night

I'd like to visit OR WA but your nutjobs out there turn me off on that notion. If there was a way to remove Portland and Seattle etc then I'd be all for it.

Yeah too bad there aren’t over 200 other cities in WA that you could visit

If there's clear labeling of which room is which and a floor plan to compare it to fine. But if not I want the door open so I can better mentally place the layout of the house.
@Charoula1608 Жыл бұрын
Most of the pictures the door closed is better. Apart from the first. The closed door plus the closet doors is a bit too much. All I see is the doors. Plus they are the focal point of that photo compared to that living room that the door is off to the side of the photo.

Open. I need to see which rooms connect and how. If I can't get a feel for the floor plan, that's a problem.
