Do you have a local Doosan (Develon) dealer for parts? I can’t find any reliable sources online.
@lilbentwrench17 күн бұрын
Upstate equipment, Lockport Ny. I bought ours at their Hamburg location. They shipped me a oil filter so I bet they will ship anywhere. But I agree there is not much online for these machines. Hope they can help you

Yeah but the funny part is that actually needs to get put back together for pulling reasons good thing the winter is still early for winter projects right lol

Hey! Saw your Allis Chalmers in the parking lot up here in Erie a few weeks ago. Looking super good! Took some nice videos, and found your channel based on the little signs you have on the frames! Enjoying your channel. Nice to see someone close to Erie on here. Could have used that backhoe at my house. Huge fan of Dirt Monkey too.
@lilbentwrench22 күн бұрын
It's a small world when you see tractors in a parking lot and can find them on KZbin. Backhoes are the most useful but clumsy thing you can have. Thanks for watching

I am so glad we don't get lake effect here! In my advancing years I like snow a little less every one. Of course, snow here is generally accompanied by howling winds that ruin any fun that might have been had.

Every day after school on the dairy farm in Arkwright it was my job to get the Allis Chalmers WD out and plow so the milk truck could back up to the milk house. The WD had a two cable lift from the rocker arms in the rear to a pulleys then to the plow. That old Allis would push snow up into big piles. So much fun!

As long I put chains on them you can pretty much do what you want with a wd/wd45 when it comes to snow Thanks for watching John

@lilbentwrench27 күн бұрын
Do you typically get a lot of snow???
@trusttherust485427 күн бұрын
@lilbentwrench No, if we get a foot in a season, we're doing good. Our problem is if we get 8 inches and we get a wind, what we call a "Northeaster". We end up with nearly bare in places to drifts as big as a bus in other spots. But most drifts are 2 to 3 feet deep.

Slamming weights is extremely hard on your body. I know. Maybe timing between classes, without slowing the pull down to much, could be looked at so no one gets hurt. This is a hobby that is really catching on in popularity and we are learning new ways to make it better without changing the traditional ways of conducting a pull.

Totally agree 👍
