Sway When marimba rhythms start to play Dance with me, make me sway Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore Hold me close, sway me more Like a flower bending in the breeze Bend with me, sway with ease When we dance you have a way with me Stay with me, sway with me Other dancers may be on the floor Dear, but my eyes will see only you Only you have the magic technique When we sway I go weak I can hear the sounds of violins Long before it begins Make me thrill as only you know how Sway me smooth, sway me now Other dancers may be on the floor Dear, but my eyes will see only you Only you have the magic technique When we sway I go weak I can hear the sounds of violins Long before it begins Make me thrill as only you know how Sway me smooth, sway me now You know how Sway me smooth, sway me now

You matched the dance to the music very well. What was the original song with this dance?

Rita Hayworth was quite the talent with that iconic beautiful face and luxurious head of brown hair, here demonstrating her exceptional dancing , and a very good actress also. Altogether her multivariate abilities also suggesting an exceptional mind. All in all i think she was likely a formidable person.

Rita Hayworth was a lovely graceful talented dancer I studied ballet mainly but other dance styles also from age 7-16. . I just watched “Viva Los Vegas” with Elvis Presley & Ann Margret…..to me her “dancing” does not compare to Rita Hayworth or to Elvis either. She was pretty and hot looking and very skinny so I guess that gets a lot of mileage/popularity for her? Anyway she’s not in the same class as Rita Hayworth, Cyd Charisse, Rita Moreno, Ann Miller and other great dancers

4 6 24 Saturday in Heart ❤️ Land of USA Rita Hayworth (born Margarita Carmen Cansino; October 17, 1918 - May 14, 1987) was an American actress, pin-up girl and dancer. She achieved fame in the 1940s as one of the top stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood, and appeared in 61 films in total over 37 years. The press coined the term "The Love Goddess" to describe Hayworth after she had become the most glamorous screen idol of the 1940s. She was the top pin-up girl for GIs during World War II. Hayworth is perhaps best known for her performance in the 1946 film noir Gilda, opposite Glenn Ford, in which she played the femme fatale in her first major dramatic role. She is also known for her performances in Only Angels Have Wings (1939), The Strawberry Blonde (1941), Blood and Sand (1941), The Lady from Shanghai (1947), Pal Joey (1957), and Separate Tables (1958). Fred Astaire, with whom she made two films, You'll Never Get Rich (1941) and You Were Never Lovelier (1942), once called her his favorite dance partner. She also starred in the Technicolor musical Cover Girl (1944), with Gene Kelly. She is listed as one of the top 25 female motion picture stars of all time in the American Film Institute's survey, AFI's 100 Years...100 Stars. In 1980, Hayworth was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease, which contributed to her death in 1987 at age 68. The public disclosure and discussion of her illness drew attention to Alzheimer's, and helped to increase public and private funding for research into the disease. Born Margarita Carmen Cansino October 17, 1918 New York City, U.S. Died May 14, 1987 (aged 68) New York City, U.S. Resting place-Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City Occupation Also Rita Hayworth was Caucasian she was NOT of the Red ♥️ race of people. Rita Hayworth was all Caucasian. Rita Hayworth's mother Volga Haworth she was of Irish and English descent and she was Roman Catholic. So it wasn't very uncommon for a Spanish Jewish man to Marry and English Catholic woman back then. But anything can happen in America 😊 Spouses Edward C. As someone who's watched my share of Fred Astaire movies, and a social dancer myself, I am 99.9% sure this was not the original music or even song for this choreography as filmed. Pretty darned good match, made easier by digital software that can adjust tempo, but just not a perfect match. Sort through the KZbin reinventions, or better yet find the original movie. Fred's choreographies are that much better with the music he designed them for. Anyone want to weigh in? Tell me if you find proof.

"To a friend in love Dear friend, it's great to see you so happy, it's even better to know that this happiness is because your heart is full of love... I feel happy with you, I share every smile of yours, every quick beat of your heart, because for me, seeing you like this just fills me with joy. I ask God to always protect you, to make this love bring you much peace in your soul, and give you the strength to love even more. But I also ask God , may He not allow your eyes to cry, may this love end, may you not be hurt. I hope this love is eternal, may you have beautiful moments, and live this love story with all the magic and tenderness, affection and happiness ...It's great to see you happy!"
