The beauty of the children singing, the Christmas tree and lights all warm and cozy... smiling faces.... contrasted by the hearsem the honour guard, The American flag and the cold tones in the air... Absolutley BEAUTIFUL cinematography... add in the childrens voices interrupted by the gunhots and THIS right here is an absolute MASTERPIECE. The West Wing was and remains the best show to ever grace our TV screens. I do hope the entire series has been saved and preserved in the Library of Congress to be viewed by future generations long after we are all gone and forgotten.

Anna, the old barn burner 🔥, was such fun and a hoot. Celeste Holms as Anna Rossini, was a great asset to Falcon Crest, amd they should have kept her on longer in that role. She played such good games and so nicely with Angela. You could laugh you arse off.

Chase probably made that codicil before Melissa kidnapped his and Maggie's child and never had a chance to change it because he might have after what Melissa did.

Wrong. He knew Melissa and her family were the original owners of Falcon Crest and, therefore, wrote this 3rd codicil to his will to have her get the land back and destroy Angela in the process. It had nothing to do with the baby.

@@tomtagliente1464 Did Chase know for sure what the key would unlock?In the letter Chase wrote to Melissa all he said was that the key would lead to downfall of the Gioberti fortune.However maybe Chase did know what the key would unlock because since his grandson Joseph was an Agretti maybe he knew his grandson son would eventually inherit Falcon Crest.

I think the show blew up the Gioberti house to maybe let viewers know that Chase was dead because if they kept it viewers might have had hope Chase would return.Plus getting rid of the house sort of let Maggie once and for all put her marriage to Chase in the past and move forward with her future,
