i think most of it should be canon only things that interfere with pre established lore also if stuff is to overpowered or to weird it should be adjusted to fit better also no things that would possibly brake lore unless it has a responsible explanation so it makes sense why it wasn’t used before

There was a force sensitive female Dianoga named Omi in the death star trash compactor. Apparently she was captured and placed there to help break down garbage, Omi didn't like that at first and killed some stormtroopers, but then found a hiding spot in the trash compactor. While Dianoga might seem primitive, they are sentient and some can be force sensitive, they hailed from Vodran and stowed away on ships, allowing them to spread to other planets like Coruscant.

The villains could be a Yuuzhan Vong remanent who became bounty hunter, a Darth Maul's clone or lost brother Force user who could be a dissident from The One Sith who take a lethan twii'lek little girl as his apprendice (Darth Talon's mother or grandmother), and Darth Krayth as a Thanos from the first Avengers' movies like villain. The trilogy would explain the origins of the Fel Empire and would develop Ben Skywalker and Vestara Khai's relationship and Jaina Solo and Jagger Fel's relationship too, maybe showing their kids even.

Jabba was kind of a pushover in that scene. It's better that they left him a mystery. When he finally appears in the third movie, we know less about him. It increases the air of danger around him. Like cutting all the early scenes featuring Luke on Tatooine made that planet more of a mystery, and more dangerous-seeming. The CGI Jabba improved matters. In spite of his squishy body, he comes off tougher than Declan Mulholland was. Mulholland just didn't make a very intimidating Jabba. He was too jovial.
