Visited in May. Public transportation in Nice is the worst experience we had ever. And we do travel a lot. We bought unlimited passes for seven days and validated them on our 1st ride. but didn’t know we have to validate them every time we use bus or metro. guess what happened controllers walk in check out passes and said we didn’t validate them. They are unlimited and we didn’t know we have to validate them on each ride. It’s look like they’re looking to make money on tourists horrible. We would never go back to this place. $40 fee for us that we had passes !!! Ridiculous!!

Italy and France...best markets in the world...love the border region of Italy and France...Napoleon was Italian and helped shape France as did the powerful Medici family of Florence...so many Italian influences in French culture over the centuries...when I visited Nice (used to named 'NIZZA'), many speak Italian and of course French and many I met had cousins who were Italian.

Damals gab es am Hafen einen kleinen Weihnachtsmarkt und alles war wohl noch in den Anfängen. Wir sind von Nizza aus mit dem Bus dort hin gefahren. Damals noch für 1 € pro Strecke.
