This was a great review! Le Patio's food is excellent. We went to Le Vague in July and the food portion was generous and was quite delicious! The owner was very friendly and made me feel at home when I wasn't familiar with some of the local wines on the menu.

My friend and I had our last lunch in Nice at Le St Paul and it was fabulous...beautiful location, fabulous food and once you have a reservation you have from12 till 2 to arrive. Your table is saved for you alone!!! Le Vigna at the Port is great for scrumptious contemporary food. The sea bream on a bed of veggies and mashed potatoes was excellent and so was the salad with crunchy honey drizzled goat cheese. Another favorite was the chef driven, Citrus, in old town..very small menu, cozy ambience and attentive service...Thanks for your videos which definitely enhanced our visit.

Excellent -- I just had dinner at Peixes last week and quite liked it! As a splurge --- Racines by the liberation market just won a Michelin star in November -- it's only the 2nd all vegetarian restaurant in France to have this award. It's a fixed menu though -but phenom!

By and large I think you do a nice job of covering various topics and giving a lot of useful information but I cannot fail to mention the somewhat unnatural narration in every video. It doesn't seem authentic but more like a school teacher speaking to her young students. I only share this in the hopes that you will take it as constructive feedback for future videos.

@@joyannesloan8384 hey, thanks. You‘re right, we think about that a lot and try to add more live talking. It’s kind of tough for us to get all the information into a short video when speaking without a script in a language we‘re just not as fluent in as we‘d like to. Takes us too many takes sometimes to get things out in a precise way. We‘re trying to work on it 😅. Another „problem“ is also, that often, we‘re not discovering while filming, but we know exactly what we want to show and why we want to show certain things - and that puts us automatically into that travel guide/teacher/TV presenter mode… well, yeah, very aware of what you point out - just still learning and giving it our best 😇

@@deansteenkamp6329 you must have missed part of the video, we also showed cheaper places… Anyway, it’s not complicated to find cheaper restaurants in Nice - you just might not get the same quality and/or location. We generally try showing a variety of restaurants WE LIKE, for different budgets
