I sometimes feel the band let him down and he could have done with a better group group of musicians a lot of the guitar big guitar in particular Is very repetitive and standard and lacks nuance

Scott had the Quintessential rock baritone, like Jim Morrison, David Bowie before him he could belt some decent highs but also croon those low warm velvet vibratos' but unlike the Bowie and Morrison, he also had a natural rasp in his tone

@@BataraKado Personally, I don't see much of a uniqueness in Scott's voice. His vocals are GREAT, no doubt. However, I'm looking for an unmistakenly unique voice like Robert Plant or Axl Rose. In this regard, no one matches Led Zeppelin.

Scott weiland was one of the best! My first show to see the original STP was that a KROQ weenie roast a bunch of bands played. The other times I saw him play he was with Velvet revolver. The last show was at the Hollywood Bowl I believe it was 2007. Frankly I can't believe even though people still want to hear STP. It's not STP without Scott. Great cover of a great band also Led Zeppelin. Yet another one of my favorite bands.
