Great lesson! Love this tune. Tried to learn it when I was younger but that diminished chord run really threw me. 🤣 “Road Song” and “West Coast Blues” would be other great choices for lessons. No such thing as too much Wes (or Charlie Christian, for that matter.) 😊

Now that's HIP I pretty much copied what your playing in the video I was just wondering how can I substitute the B flat 9 sus 4 & the B flat 9 chords in the 4th measure, due to short fingers that don't have the reach???

Chris, YOU are the “boss!” Excellent tutorial! I love these types of tunes… (I too love that descending part - for some reason Duke Pearson’s “Jeanine” came to mind, with the rhythmic stabs). I think I’m going to bring this to my trio! Thanks!👏😁
