Thank you for your insights into embellishing shell voicings. That's exciting and commendable. But for breaking the topic down into sequenced, modeled instruction--I am standing on my chair applauding!👏👏👏👏

Another excellent discussion and demonstration! I always associate that inner Maj7 to 6 movement with Swing Era ace, Allan Reuss, who frequently improved it in small group settings.

Will there be a kind of similar soundings, beginning with the root note on the lower E string, from Fmaj7 or Gmaj7 up to as far as possible to the end of the neck or even mix with the chords with the root on the A String to take it over? That could be extending the possibilities.

❤ so I sent you an email. I decided I'm going to find on patreon some of the songs that you tabulated that I love the way you arranged and played them. But any suggestions would be helpful love always Joey John

Yes, I did reply to your email. Unfortunately my chord melody arrangements aren't available on patreon due to copyright laws.

Ooohh, that was really cool, Chris. I've always been foggy brained about this particular topic. (OK, well yeah, I'm foggy brained period. 🤣) But this is a nice clear concise lesson to help unfog my head at least on those points. Thanks, Brother. One of these days I'll drum up the gumption to record a video of what I've learned over time (hard to believe it's been so many years since I first subscribed here!). Salut! 😉
