I'm a proud owner of a 1971 trans am 455ho. I drive it very often without any problems. Hope GM will bring back Pontiac

My dad had drives his 70’s Trans Am when he was young, his car has it’s performance, that was absolute muscle car, he’ll had a head start of his road, for his trans Am. Pontiac…Thanks for memories.

Pontiac will always be in my heart

First brand new car my father ever bought ( used cars in our family from 63 to 71) was a brand spanking new 1972 Grand safari. It was the car I got my driver's license in. Try that you mellinials! Passed on the first try and yes, I had to parallel park that tank to pass! Our families list of pontiacs. 72 Catalina safari 400 69 Tempest 74 Trans Am 79 turbo Trans am And an Aztek (for some reason I can't remember the year and yes people thought it was ugly).

Pontiac's hayday was really in the 1960's, but maintained their strong presence in the 70's with the ever popular Trans Am / Firebird. But the last "true" Pontiac rolled off the line in 1981. That was the last year of a Pontiac with a real Pontiac engine. After that it was all GM "Corporate" engines....AKA Chevy.

My first car was a 1979 camaro. I thought it was peak performance from gm. Until I rode in a 1982 trans am. That was purely incredible. I traded in the Camaro for a pontiac sunbird because it's what I could afford. The sunbird is gone now but I have a 2008 grand prix. It's amazing that pontiac could build so much emotion into just a car.

We all know that GM is the reason why Saturn,Pontiac,SAAB and HUMMER Went BANKRUPT because of just how STUPID GM was and i think if Those brands that were owned by GM and they choose to be a solo company they would never be Bankrupt again(EXCEPT THE HUMMER BECAUSE SOME HATED IT. Been a long time and just heard this song. My family co-owned our town Chevy store. Best family friends owned the Pontiac-Cadillac on the same street. We sold out in '69 and bought Pontiacs from them for the next 3 decades. Only can say this song is about far more than wonderful cars.

The Rockford File also featured a Pontiac. Firebird. Like the dodo Firebird and Thunderbird extinct.

I miss Pontiac. They were the only cars, except a few like the Asstek, to catch my attention. I miss my 1996 Trans Am. The late 90's Grand Am GT, Grand Prix GTP and the Firebird Trans Am were the most aggressive looking cars at that time. Today's cars are so boring and most look the same.

Listening to this song really makes me love my Trans am that much more. I'm sad to see Pontiac go, but I'm happy and proud to own one. My Trans Am is the first, and probably last Pontiac that I'll ever own, and believe me, I'm not letting it go!

My Pontiac is good because it actually has a Toyota engine,it's a cousin to the Toyota Matrix,it has the same shape, and sounds like a Corolla when starting. Only minor issues like a dead battery, and a couple of flat tires,otherwise great car. A issue I have is the paint is peeling and need to get car painted and some other body work.

This song makes me think of my 2003 Vibe since Pontiacs aren't made anymore,my Vibe is considered to me my baby and I'm grateful I have her as my ride and need to take care of her since the brand isn't made anymore.

Pontiac never made an ugly car, even in the 90s. They always had style. Its sad that the car companies don’t have style anymore, only car about the money.

Yeah man, I got 2 2002 Trans Ams. Last year for that iconic muscle car. Bought both new & in 2018 they both still smell like new. Lord willing, I will never part with either.
