If it were up to me, the Doctor would be with Rose forever. I like all the companions but there has never before been a love story like theirs. And she loved him for who he was in his soul. She fell in love with Nine and her love deepened with Ten. It would have continued through all the incarnations. I can even see it working with Thirteen although the dynamic might be a bit different. I just miss how happy Ten and Rose were. The Doctor never laughed or smiled at least half this much as with Rose. They had so much fun with each other! I miss this so much... the fun, the jokes, the laughing....
