How can three utterly fictional characters make you love them so much that seeing them suffer reduces you into a bawling, blubbering mess of emotions? That last scene with the Doctor so very alone and so very lonely was perhaps the best ending I could ever ask for. Thank you for this amazing tribute.

God, the last scene was the saddest and the most heartwrenching ever. Somehow, this is your secret fear. You fear you already know this is how the story will always end... the doctor standing alone in his TARDIS. Doomed, weary and all alone.
