So Glad this was Shared. I didn’t know until now 11/14/2024 that RS had passed 4 months ago. I was a teenager in the 80’s and I would run home to workout with him on his daytime show. Randomly, I thought about him and decided to Google..where is Richard Simmons and when the answer surfaced the most prominent word was “death” What a hoot he was.

I remember freinds made fun of me for working out to Richard Simmons I loved his personality he got me in shape to join the military and i still work for a police department and survived that police academy, i dont know im sad

I grew up watching Richard on TV, mostly in the background. Really knew nothing about him as a person other than his joy and genuine love for others. As a child this wasn’t missed on me, and he became a staple of the characters of my early life. I am happy to see him remembered in a church where he can be prayed for by others. God is merciful and sees how we treat others. Richard was a man of kindness and love toward his fans.

Richard got me into my size 7 wedding dress with his Deal AMeal and Sweating to the Oldies. I looked beautiful and I will always be greatful to Richard for that.

My parents saw him dancing at a mall not too long after they got married in 1999. My mom and her 3 sisters in the 80s had so much fun exercising his VHS workout videos. If you don't know 100% for sure that Heaven is where you'll spend eternity, I would love to show you from the word of God how you can receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour.

I went through a bad breakup after 3 years. I was depressed but had to leave a toxic relationship. I ran across sweating to the oldies in a record shop. Last one and it was meant for me. It was like therapy for me and dropped 20 pounds. I love you Richard ❤ He brought my spirits up.

I emailed him a few years ago, and he wrote me back with positive feedback. I will never forget him. ❤
