How does this compare to the older octane model? I dont think anyone has actually reviewed it yet.

I just want to jump start my car, so do I have to plug this in an outlet in order to jump start my car?
@Shoptoolreviews3 сағат бұрын
Yes, this is a battery charger with a start assist (boost), but it requires the unit to be plugged into an outlet.

Nice system. I did mine free hand head installed. That MIG adapter would have been handy getting around all of the installed gingerbread I fought with. GM should be strung up for allowing this engineering flaw drag on long enough for aftermarket solutions like this to become necessary. Thanks
@Shoptoolreviews3 сағат бұрын
It does seem like exhaust manifold bolts should last longer; however, it's not just GM. Several of the manufacturers have the same issue.

Seems like a great trimmer but I can't believe there's nothing to protect the battery from smashing into the ground when you set it down. It also seems like it should be able to run a 20 inch cutting swath if it's as powerful as they claim.

It definitely traverses obstacles better than any robot mower that we've touched.

Curious how this is safe for indoor use, since it produces heat via combustion of hydrocarbons.

You need make up air and good ventilation. Not for enclosed areas; crack a window or door open a bit and you won't die.

Had mine for just under a year and I love it. Use it in a 4000 sq ft uninsulated shop and it keeps me warm. It's radiant so it heats objects, not air.

Right. Diameter is across the circle. Circumference is the distance around the perimeter of the circle ⭕️

12:21 They posted a video on their FB page that they were able to lower the noise level by half for the production version. The production version is soo much quieter than the prototype you tested.
@ShoptoolreviewsКүн бұрын
That's very interesting. We didn't realize they were releasing production versions yet. Also, we didn't think this one was loud anyway. For something that buzzing around the yard without being near it, we can't see how that little of noise would be bothersome.
@ryan5240323 сағат бұрын
Technically it's not a production version, but it's using the production motor. I agree the one you showed in the video is pretty quiet, but not as quiet as the razor blade style robot mowers. Here's the video they published recently: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6LPooKlZr2Je5osi=feY9HCievv6eXxBZ
@fourbypeteКүн бұрын
Considering what it costs for mowers that aren't as good as this one, I'd say the cost of this mower if it was retail would be around $15,000 USD.
@ShoptoolreviewsКүн бұрын
That's a good point. We believe the best feature is that you don't have to think about it, and it just always keeps your yard cut.
@fourbypete17 сағат бұрын
@@ShoptoolreviewsI always wondered where the grass goes when it's cut. When I mow my yard every 2 to 3 weeks It always seems to be a garbage bin full of grass. I think that knowing the grass and leaving it there for mulch tends to make a bit of a mess, especially when there's kids around. The area that I live in gets a lot of flooding so the grass if I left it on the ground would just clog the drains and cause more damage. I really need a mower that can collect the grass and dispose of it or compact it into a brick.

Is the 3/8 suitable for doing lug nuts on the regular or is that stupid?
@ShoptoolreviewsКүн бұрын
It is, but I still have a hard time recommended this as a wheel/tire impact. If lugnuts were all properly tightened (torqued), you wouldn't have an issue. But typically, lugnuts get run on with Max ugga duggas from the air impact.

I would be interested to see you review the Yarbo and/or the Mowrator
@ShoptoolreviewsКүн бұрын
Both should be reviewed in the coming months. ;)
@BrianCaffarelКүн бұрын
Thanks for the review! Curious, how close did you walk the mower to the pool to set the no-go zone? Did it mow over the boundary path that you set or did it hold back a mower width or two away from the no-go boundary?
@ShoptoolreviewsКүн бұрын
It's going to honor the no-go boundary and stay on the outside of that line. On the outside perimeter, when you are mapping, you can straddle the sidewalk/path/driveway, and on the last pass, the Lymow will make a perimeter pass, cleaning up all the edges.

Thanks for the video review. Would this make sense for a St Augustine lawn cut at 4 inch height? I saw somewhere it might only be for a close cropped Zoysia or other lower height grass type.
@ShoptoolreviewsКүн бұрын
I would probably cut the St. Augustine fine, but it's definitely built for tighter/denser turf. It may have a hard time traversing in the St. Augustine.

@ShoptoolreviewsКүн бұрын
I don't think the 3" blades are large enough to cut through brick pavers. I think a cheap 4-1/2" angle grinder with a masonry blade would be the best choice. Thanks for watching.
