I bought one ~12years ago for my racecar battery terminals..I used a soldier lug first then crimper them with my Betool hydraulic crimper.. they've been good-n-tight since 👍

I find it best to stick the crimper in a Vice to hold it so your not fumbling it around.

Those crimpers are nice backup in case you left your fancy battery-powered ones in the office.

Six sides = hexagon, not octagon. MM is for MiliMeters, not centimeters. I've had this crimper for several years without issues.

I had my seals go bad on this exact crimper. Opened the box to a bix mess one day. It was straight forward to repair it. Wish they had put better seals in it though rather than giving spares. Also if your seals go bad you have no spare fluid.

We baught these for my work and we go up to 4/0, these were garbage. Had to use the Original Temco Tools 0005 model and it has been flawless for 4 years so far. The big difference between amazon and OG is the die quality and precision

I'd love to see how you do it with 000 AWS. Even fine stranded, extra flexible welding cable.

then your crimps are garbage on anything that's thicker than 8 Ga. GJ.
