If at 99 min you taste it and it’s not quite right what do you do? Cook more? Or is it just add more seasoning?

Hi. Reducing it will concentrate the flavour. You could also add some more herbs, be careful adding salt - it gets saltier as it reduces and you can always add later when you use it.

Ahh I just got one of my answers here - So I do not nessesarely need to TM6 and can use it with my phone- that's great- I am sure I find another question for you about the sensor and how to use it most effectively for my use and oven / BBQ 😉

Hi and thank you for the video- really lovely to see you make that chicken and I learned a lot by watching this ( I had my TM 6 for a few years but hardly used it- but want to change this now- so I am considering buying the Sensor as I am just tired of not knowing when my meat is done how it should be- whether it be chicken, pork or whatever- I guess like like everyone who doesnt cook much LOL ) - I do have a few questions though. 1- I use a ordinary old style Gas Oven ( in a Caravan) with no temp gauge and no fan to circulate the air- I imagine that it would be very handy & practical to use the Sensor in such a case ? I am unsure- hence the question. 2- Can I use the Sensor without the TM6? ( I have one 😉 but wondered if I can use the Sensor in say my Webber Baby Q or elsewhere without having the TM 6 anywhere near ? 3- Cooking a chicken in the Veroma??? Obviously that is steamed but does that taste any good??? Just wondering if there are any drawbacks -other than not getting a crispy skin? I never cooked a Whole chicken so forgive my ignorance Thank you in advance

Hi, this was a really helpful video - I make this bread every second day. I had been having problems with getting the sticky dough out - your tips really helped and also the demo of tucking the edges under which I had not understood. BUT the ice cube tip caused a short and killed my oven permanently :(

Thank you Collette 💕 My starter is still quite thick & no bubbles today. It is quite cold here in Melbourne, however we work & school from home & the new central heating is on 6:30am-9pm everyday. Should I still follow the feeding schedule for the third day or wait another day? It was on the upper shelf in the walk in pantry which is quite consistent but perhaps not quite enough. I’ve given it a stir, covered with a loose sheet of paper towel secured with a large, thin rubber-band & loosely wrapped it before placing it on top of a folded calico bag on top of the fridge lol

Hello Collette I too love my Thermomix but equally love my Miele ovens so am trying to learn to use the best features of both. Your comments about wet hands are great. I also like the fact that you fold the bread and I did do that today. I prove my bread in the Miele on the prove function at 30 C and I use Moisture plus. We like a very good crust but I have not mastered the temperature at which to bake the bread. I used to bake it at 230C on shelf two, and it would burn. Miele ovens say reduce temperature by 20° from the temperature in the recipe Today I put it on the middle shelf preheated at 230° and lower it to 200C when I put it in the oven , 2 shots of steam as this is what makes crust and baked for 30 minutes. It was quite good when I took it out but softened on resting. So moisture trapped in bread. So I know I should’ve baked it longer, or at a higher temperature. You didn’t take your bread out of the oven so I don’t know what yours looked like. I was also wondering if your other oven is a steam Combi oven. If it is, have you tried baking your bread in that oven? I have the steam Combi oven but I’ve never baked bread in it. Have you tried any of the Miele automatic bread functions? If you can help me with any of these questions I would really appreciate it as I really don’t have anyone to talk to regarding the actual baking of bread in those ovens. Thanking you in appreciation 🙏

Safety announcement - do NOT double it. The "this recipe can be doubled" is not accurate. Not safe for yourself or your thermomix. Too full. Splattered absolutely everywhere. I had to split to mid cook because the mess escaping the gaps in the basket on top was just too extreme

How do you defrost it? do you boil it with the food-grade plastic?
@Ad-Infinitum
@Ad-Infinitum 5 ай бұрын
I personally wouldn't heat plastic in any way. You can take it out in time to defrost. If you have a time constraint you can remove the bag and put the lump in a safe container and defrost in the microwave. In fact, removing it as a lump before it's thoroughly defrosted means less waste stuck to the bag 🙂

The TM5 has an automated recipe for yogurt: It works for 8hrs. And then you have a beautiful yogurt. Now I'm doing it in the TM6 in exactly the same way except on fermentation mode this time. Because I don't have the serving bowl.
