Back in my time, i've managed to finish F ZERO with all cars, all competitions at master level. This particulary race (Death Wind 1) with the yellow car and at this level of difficulty is the hardest challenge of that game. I don't think that i've finished first, but i'm sure i cleared it just one time and i remenber too, that i was sweating a lot for not screw races after

Definitely knew it was tool assisted for 1 whenever u try to shield of the other cars no matter what the force they bump u with knocks u completely out of control so if theres 2 cars right behind u aint never staying in front of both of em

You need three things to beat Death Wind with Golden Fox on Master Difficult: 1. Believe in God. 2. One decade of practice. 3. And the third but not less important, a TAS.

See, the problem with Golden Fox is Nintendo forgot to program in the ability for the player to use the offscreen teleportation move the CPU uses.

Shockingly death wind 2 is easier for golden fox.

Strategies of knowing when to use ur S-jets and Timing when the other cars are gona try knocking u out the way I just wana know how in the world did u get passed death wind on Master I TiME the S-jets on the 2nd lap by the dirt pits to keep the other cars from tryna jump in front of me iTS like once they get in front of u u ain't ever gona catch up 2 them again the golden Foxx during keep high speed when he hits the arrows

You would need superhuman timing, reflexes, and luck to do this without tool assistance. Even with the knowledge that it's a TAS, however, this is damn impressive.

It almost looks tool assisted in some parts. Please tell the truth. And i've never seen what happened at 2:02 before!! I though those blinking cars always blew up. Must've been some dynamics with the game. Strange.

what have I stumbled to??? I was just watching F Zero videos now I'm watching a fish being flushed down a toilet with the undertakers entrance theme playing. lol

Folks, I think the description of the video is implying that it was in fact tool assisted -- notice that it says "theoretically" possible. I don't think it's possible to time and position that many hits that accurately in this game.

The only thing I was never able to do in the original F-Zero was finish Knight League on Master with the Golden Fox. I just cant block all the other cars well enough to place in Deathwind I.

The Golden Fox is the most difficult but also the fastest car in the game. The trick is to learn how to drift it. You can clear Sand Ocean without using the brakes or pulling the accelerator if you're perfect. Try using the trigger to slide away from the apex (to the outside) as you approach AND enter a turn. Once you clear the turn tap the opposite trigger to stop the drift.

Is this tool assisted? How can you block the other cars so precisely? I am wondering because your skill level looks much better in Deathwind 1 than it does on the other tracks (Not that I think you are bad on the other tracks) I managed to get 3rd once in Deathwind 1, without TAS. It took me a while to achieve that. If this video is not tool assisted, I apologize. Then you are really amazing at this game.

@poundcake2000 Yeah. Golden Fox really isn't that good of a vehicle.

@VoxAcies RE tool assisted.. I had the same impression.. I could spend hours in retries at this and get 3rd only once... how did the player know how to center the car to take the 2nd of 2+ hits.. usually one hit makes it impossible to quicky regain control let alone get in position to take a second hit.. anyway, niice vid!
