F-zero:1st Place on Death Wind 1, Golden Fox, Master Difficulty

It is actually possible (theoretically, heh) to place 1st on Death Wind 1 with the Golden Fox on Master difficulty. It is just very difficult, and you have to take a lot of hits.

You need three things to beat Death Wind with Golden Fox on Master Difficult: 1. Believe in God. 2. One decade of practice. 3. And the third but not less important, a TAS.

You would need superhuman timing, reflexes, and luck to do this without tool assistance. Even with the knowledge that it's a TAS, however, this is damn impressive.

Folks, I think the description of the video is implying that it was in fact tool assisted -- notice that it says "theoretically" possible. I don't think it's possible to time and position that many hits that accurately in this game.

Back in my time, i've managed to finish F ZERO with all cars, all competitions at master level. This particulary race (Death Wind 1) with the yellow car and at this level of difficulty is the hardest challenge of that game. I don't think that i've finished first, but i'm sure i cleared it just one time and i remenber too, that i was sweating a lot for not screw races after

@VoxAcies RE tool assisted.. I had the same impression.. I could spend hours in retries at this and get 3rd only once... how did the player know how to center the car to take the 2nd of 2+ hits.. usually one hit makes it impossible to quicky regain control let alone get in position to take a second hit.. anyway, niice vid!

Definitely knew it was tool assisted for 1 whenever u try to shield of the other cars no matter what the force they bump u with knocks u completely out of control so if theres 2 cars right behind u aint never staying in front of both of em

The guy in the video seemed to hug the inside of the track but when he had cars bumping him in the rear it seemed a bit unnatural because he wasn't getting bumped off his line like I do when using the Golden Fox.
