Reason for no gromet? Water gathers inside it as it fills with water due to inadequate sealing ,so not fitting a gromet allows it to drain out and does'nt short! Gromets create fish tanks ..no drain not absolutly rubbish.

Take the whole thing out, serves no purpose except to annoy the neighbours. It's certainly not helping with security, it's literally illuminating your stealable items in your garden to help a would-be thief. It's not useful to yourself outside because it keeps turning off when you're out there requiring a huge wave at the sensor to wake it up, every minute or so. It's annoying to the neighbours because it turns on when a cat walks past it, and it's almost definitely shining into someone's bedroom window unless you live in the middle of nowhere. A basic light on a switch so you can use it when you actually need it is the proper answer.

Nice video. Been a carpenter for over 10 years now but haven’t really done much in the way of kitchens yet. Got one coming up though, so found this video to be very helpful. I’ll definitely be double checking this again when it comes to it. I’m a pretty thorough carpenter, what I lack in speed I make up for in quality. How long does your average kitchen of this size take you, providing everything is going to plan?

@@simon7142 so to answer your question start taking the air out of the ground floor rads first then the first floor Filling pressures and usually between 1 bar to 1.5 bar If you are on your own fill to 1 bar then bleed the air in a couple of rads then top up and go again

Does it actually work? I can only guess it's being switched on/off via the pull cord 😂. The weirdest shower I've ever seen was installed on the ceiling because the old fella damaged the cable when he tried installing a new shower. There was no isolation switch on that one either 😂. It was a fairly low ceiling in a cottage. Yours tops that 😂

Fold up a rubble sack and press it right on in there. The volume of the bag only lets little plaster into the backbox. I find it much easier to clean out this way. Rubble sacks are always to hand 😜.
