New homes in Reno are about 550 K in 2024.

I like smaller houses. I went from 1800 sq. ft. 4 bedroom, to a 1100 sq.ft. 2 bed/2 bath but want to go smaller and have a more modern design. But, I do not want to be just a few feet from my next door neighbor, so I am looking for a lot and a prefab house to put on it. So I will have land but still a small footprint. Most of the land would remain natural and untouched. I just don't want to be that close to neighbors. Oh, you have garages - nice. Las Vegas did scrape off the top of a mountain... But, Clark County is a democratic haven, whereas the rest of Nevada... I like living somewhere my vote counts and not to be swallowed up by crazy.

Too bad this is not gonna work.
