The hate in this thread is political nonsense. Ella is a sophisticated, raw beauty. She’s an abosute knockout. If I had art classes with Ella, I’d be instantly hitting on her. She’s a fine art painter’s dream. She’s in a tough spot here, because artists are insecure by nature, so the political spotlight being on her has got to be a lot to deal with, and I hope it doesn’t wreck her. Look, everyone suffers. All I have to say about her is that I’d be the luckiest painter in the world if she allowed me to paint a large standing oil portrait of her. I voted against her stepmom, but my heart votes for Ella.

What I would do with her: cut her hair short and combed back wavy, the back in a wedge like Jerry Lee Lewis in the 50’s, or a 20’s male movie star. Dump the granny glasses and put her in bold Italian frames. Uber high waisted pleated pants, with a wide bottom. Double breasted jackets with padded shoulders. Striped boatneck t-shirts. Espadrille shoes, or slip on bucks. Defined brows and heavy kohl eyes. No lipstick. She’s androgynous enough to pull it off, she just needs to lose the gimmicky stuff the kids are wearing.

I don’t understand this fashion show format, where the models have to snake their way through crowded aisles of people. I much prefer the spacious sets that other designers use.

It allows the models to "come" to you. Many more front row attendees than with a raised stage.
