No. Addio means you expect to never see that person again. Arrivederci is very formal, you would use it with a stranger or an important person, and it implies you will probably see that person again. Ciao ciao is too friendly, you would use it only with friends. A normal way of saying it is "ci vediamo" or a simple "ciao", a more formal way is "salve".

@@metalema6 but salve is generally used more as a greeting than as way to say goodbye, in general arrivederci or the less formal ciao is used. I think ciao is the only word that can be used both ways, also because salve, deriving from the Latin expression “salvete” was only really used as a way to greet someone.

​​@@metalema6 Ti rispondo in italiano perché credo che anche tu sei italiano come me, addio è il modo formale per salutare qualcuno, stando al dizionario addio è: Modo di salutare separandosi, bene augurando a chi resta o a chi parte, quasi intendendo ‘ti raccomando a Dio’. Poiché addio è anche l'espressione per salutare definitivamente qualcuno, ad esempio i defunti, col tempo è stato visto come un espressione negativa, una separazione definitiva ed è stato usato sempre di men, oggi si è preferisce usare arrivederci o un semplice ciao. Bye Bye è un modo amichevole e confidenziale che hanno gli inglesi di salutare qualcuno, come il nostro ciao ciao, infatti se scrivi bye bye su un traduttore te lo traduce proprio con ciao ciao.

Shake in italian is “scuotere”, you can say “scuoti scuoti” but it sounds weird and as raora said. Agitare is not wrong, but it means shake only in very specific cases, like when referring to mixtures, and not individual objects (unless we’re talking about small particles)

@@teobunziomadestrigis8513 "agitare" and "scuotere" are synonyms, but in this case agitare seems to me the most appropriate term. For example, the famous James Bond phrase: “shaken, not stirred” has been dubbed in Italian as “agitato, non mescolato”.
