You put the blade (which wasn't stuck in the first place) the wrong way round...

Come on guys, the tip was at the very beginning. The kid was trying to climb it before it was done, and HomeOwner Hero said, "Don't do that!" Saved him hours of trying to repair a broken Summit.....

Great video. Very informative. Is the new blade pre sharpened? As to you didn’t mention that after putting it on.

Did anyone else notice he put the blade on backwards? Notice how the blade is sitting before he takes it off and then watch how he puts it back on.

Yes he was going to put the grass back on the lawn as he cut too much off . Does that help . I cut my grass the other day and it left bald patches as the grass was dry and dead.

If you have unfinished basement, it’s a lot cheaper and easy to just put glue between the gaps and add a 2x4 for support on the squeak area

Will the floors start sqeeking again after a few years? I heard that the threads is not enough to hold down the floors after many steps...normally the screw head is what keeps the floor down..not the screw threads??? Does anyone know?

THANK YOU for this video explainer! I found and used a 6' (conduit) breaker bar, some muscle, and... it worked! You're a genius with this idea! - even though it may not be a 'new' idea. Blade replacement is secondary to getting that stuck bolt off! Your video title came up with my google search words. Just what I was looking for! Thanks again!!

Should've sharpened the blade not replaced it. You can do this with a hand file and a vice. Aren't we supposed to be reparing things and not replacing them because we cant be bothered to do some (not very) hard work?
@przybyla4202 жыл бұрын
Yeah replacing the blade every year is pretty not smart. If it’s any good a file shouldn’t work on it though unless it’s a diamond file. Belt sander

I recommend using a putty knife for the filler. You will use much less per hole to fill, and it will apply the filler much better.

If you have a filter just put the inlet on the inside and the outlet on the outside , just do this to empty the entire pool because the flow rate is higher than the drainage plug
