you are supposed get the AFR at 14.0 to 14.7/15.0 at idle you adjust idle ignition timing to fine tune the idle rpm. retard the idle timing at 800 to 900 rpm. adjust the throttle set screw or put a restrictor gasket on the idle air by pass if you need to. your cam is allowing the head to flow more air so you need to choke it at idle. you also have too much fuel at idle being at 11.5 to 12.0 AFR way too rich. you can also check if your wide band O2 is out of calibration. remove it test it with a soaked rag of fuel then open air to let it got to 18.

I just traded my 2011 fa5 for a 15 fb6 as far as performance goes the 9th feels faster I guess because of torque but the 8th definitely sounds a lot better just the features alone and overall more modern look did it for me the 8th gen was bullet proof I delivered pizza in it for over a year and just overall driving no issues at all in 3 years only brakes and tires when I traded it not long ago it had 215k miles and still ran fantastic!!!!

Are you able to run these with no piston to valve clearance issues? Or do you need to get the pistons cut for these? I’m seeing mixed reviews, I was considering these but not thinking of stepping down to the 268s to avoid the clearance issues I’m hearing about

No, alignment was good, I just made sure steering wheel didn’t move and it was all good, and the car has 250k miles btw 😂

This was a sick video. Very raw and real life footage. I did a sbc fuel injected for my mazda truck. I f I could to add to what you did, get a megasquirt for half the price of that msd and control only timing for now with your setup, then fuel when you build the setup or buy the intake manifold off ebay that offers fuel injected built in. Then when you go LS eventually maybe, you can use the megasuirt or speeduino to control the rest. Paradox the wraper youtube channel aslo has someone doing a blow through carb setup. Its the orange datsun owner. Blow through is making a comeback. Full standalone ecu with EFI analytics is the way to go I think. Thanks for posting!

Ya I’ve been considering going with another megasquirt and using it just for the ignition settings. Since I do know my way around tuner studio since my other mustang is running in a mega squirt. So we shall see lol. Thanks!

Stage 2 clutches are horrible to daily drive you cannot take off smooth normal driving gotta rev it up to high makes you look like you suck at driving stick lol just horrible

Your idle is still high no matter what cam your running and your idle afr is your hunting idle get your afr 13.6 13.8 for idle my 2v has 278ah cams and idle at 720rpm no hunting for idle

Hey brother I just wanted to let you know the reason why the factory sn95 brackets weren't working for you is you have to put the left on the right side and the right on the left side 😬 just a little information just in case you didn't know now you know that's probably what happened why they weren't fitting

_I'm curious why the passenger side rear qtr window in this car is shaped like the GTs but the drivers side is shaped like the Mach 1s & Bullitts? That passenger side rear qtr window has been replaced because Bullitts are more squared off if you look online you'll see what I mean lmao._

Hey man! So we have damn near an identical setup. My car hunts when it wants to it feels like, cold start i run around 15-16 which imo is way to lean. And at times it throws a code which absolutely destroys how the car runs almost feels like limp mode. But on 2nd startup it clears codes and goes back to normal 950 rpm im so confused and such a noob too at tuning. Just wondering if you got this dialed in and ironed out. (2000 mustang gt, fully built bottom end forged internals, stage 3 comp cams, vortech v2 sc kit)
