If you need some advice i got you. You feel the same way i do about the 2v. It has potential. You just need to know how to make it. Its a low end power car. Mine makes 480 hp under $20,000. And i still have a lot more i can do with it.

Lousers : I have an MMR 900se forged short block (stroked to 4.75)with stock heads, cams. Kenne Bell 2.1 with big air kit, BBK shorty headers. That’s it engine wise.

Do you have lowering springs? Car looks a little high and if it was lower it would look even meaner then it already is. Also, props for building that 2v up. Andrew Lavender did the same thing and his 2v is running 8.5s in a quarter. So glad you won't be ls swapping.

Definitely need a cold air intake, a throttle body and a tuner for sure (K&N and BBK 78 mm my recommendations). Not sure what year this is, but if you have PI heads, no need for an intake manifold unless you plan to turbo. Consider porting the heads or getting a solid set of new ones from Trikflow. Under drive pulleys are only good for NA setups and an NA 2v is a money pit with no power on the other end. On3 makes an awesome bolt on turbo kit that I plan on doing for my car, but you might want to swap cams to a more turbo centered cam if you go that root (MMR or MHS awesome options, still have nasty idle lope). As mentioned below me, the Tork tech kit is another awesome budget option for boost if you want to go the supercharged route and keep your long tubes.

Were doing the same thing I just got my engine fully forged. I’m looking at mmr stage 2 ported trick flow heads and a new intake manifold. I’m looking for 550 from a vortech

Definitely upgrade the intake setup! You can boost that engine safely as long as you keep it low to 10 lbs of boost or less. Nitrous is too risky for a stock 2V. Your engine won't last long at 550 hp. In the end you will spend a ton of money just to blow the motor and realize you should have done a 4V in the first place.
