I totally get that, a year ago when I first started watching Plotter videos I said absolutely not!!

That's a good question, I don't think it's possible unless you have special tools? I've never attempted to remove any rings because I know I would mess it up lol.

Isn't it awesome how the paper and ink comes in a single cartridge?! That's a major selling point for me. The battery lasts for awhile so I don't hesitate packing it on my bag when traveling or cafe journaling.

I think it is a Yamamoto notebook! I remember I impulsed purchased it at the local stationery store here, I'm not sure what I should use it for? What do you use it for? The narrowness is interesting.

@@stationery.shenanigans I use it for an every day carry and I have bought the canvas cover (WHICH I LOVE) as well as a ton of other RO-Biki notebooks for it because, yeah they are that cool LOL!!

That's the thing about desktop tripods, for me, it's a pain to clasp them in and out of the holder, so it deters me from wanting to use them. I actually use this stand on my desk every day, to put my phone when I'm doing other things. That way I don't forget where I put it, lol!

I'm not sure why, but I still feel weird about recording myself out in public. Someday!!! Baby steps.

I'm still not able to muster up the courage to film myself journaling out in public, but baby steps!

Unfortunately there isn't a store in Knoxville that sells Plotters (or Traveler's Company that I know of!) - I had bought this when I was visiting my family in Philly. Plotter seems to be expanding into brick-and-mortar retail stores, so it'll be interesting to see which other stores start to carry them. I know Gentleman Stationer is opening a store in Franklin, TN. I occasionally travel down to Duluth, GA (3 hours from here) to go to Kinokuniya Atlanta. The next nearest place might be Good Postage in Charlotte. It's great to hear there are other people in Tennessee! I would love to do a traveler's notebook meetup someday.

It's on the *smaller* size but I actually like it for that reason. I dunno how to explain it, but when you cap the pen there's a little resistance so it slowly fits snuggly, kind of like when a trash can lid has automatic closure? Maybe that doesn't make sense lol!!

Pentel is the most underrated pen brand in the stationery world!! I feel like I could make a whole video about their products lol. I feel stalled on my article, getting started is the hardest part. But I'm planning to schedule "off-grid" time next week to sit down and just freewrite - sometimes just starting to write ANYTHING really helps. I'm also thinking too much if the editors will like it enough to publish, instead I need to just write what I want, and if they like it great, if not, oh well!

I had to unsubscribe for now because I now have too many stickers LOL and I'm trying to avoid decision fatigue. The quality of their stickers are AMAZING though and I love their designs. The subscription is WAY cheaper than buying individual packs!

When I looked on the website awhile ago, I thought Bible sized would be too small for me - it was only when I saw it in person that it made total sense. I love it so far! When I had COVID in 2022 I felt like I had a small cold, it was just uncomfortable - but this time I had a fever and was shaking in bed, and for days my nose wouldn't stop running. Now I am almost 100%!!!! Phew

I'm too indecisive to only carry around one pen LOL. For the Plotter, i'm trying to only keep 2-3 items in the pouch so it says flat enough that I can comfortably right. With the TN plastic pouch, I don't mind packing that with all sorts of things, since it can be easily removed before writing. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for commenting! I'm not familiar with an 80s Filofax but I do have a Personal sized Original...the rings in the Plotter are smaller which works better for me, because I tend to accidentally rip pages while turning them in the Personal.

I do hate how everything is a subscription now, it drives me nuts! There are even printers that when you buy and take them home, you have to pay a monthly fee or it won't print!? That is crazy to me. I get what you're saying, but I find it kind of the opposite, at least for the purposes I'm using this for. I think of consumerism as buying cheap, uncrafted things, OFTEN, and throwing them away for the next thing. But here, you are buying one quality, crafted item up front (the front), and some accessories, and then just buying paper refills for life. The paper refills range from $6-12 which are a fair price to me. I don't expect to use many more accessories, and I do expect everything to last for a long time since it is higher quality. Some people especially on KZbin, make videos to get people to buy things, and I don't think they actually like the products! I am honest about my opinions for sure lol. [Also, I always felt dumb when trying to learn how to play Magic, at the time I stuck with Pokemon because it was more simple!] Thanks for watching and commenting!

I'm glad that my video helped you make a decision! It's certainly not for everyone. For the past 2 years or so, it was an immediate no for me because of the cost. Even when I saw PLOTTER USA's table at the DC Pen Show in 2022, I didn't feel excited by any of it. But now when I saw one that was fully setup, I realized it's something that will work well for me.
