😇Your dough looks so messy, but your bread looks so beautiful. Isn’t that funny how it comes out so nice. Great job. ❌⭕️🙏🏽♥️

Borsh is very popular in Russia, I cook it with beats, cabbage, kinney beans, potatoes, carrots+some tomato paste. Best borsh is on beef stock. And we bake small garlick buns to eat with borsh, they are called pumpushki.

Your home is very lovely & comfy….and REAL!!!🤍 I do work that brings me into people’s homes regularly & I can tell you it’s only my wealthy clients without children that have these super curated homes! The rest of us live in reality! Lol

YES! I’m so sick of the perfectly decorated houses that are perfectly styled for the year with the perfect stuff. And then the next year it’s totally different. Drives me nuts.

Squeeze cooked beets and the skin slips off smoothly. Slices of cooked beets make a lovely bread and real butter sandwich. Plain or dressed with vinegar and sugar. I made a salad with beets and corn dressed with sweetbchilly sauce. Did you see canned beets in NZ? Whole, plain or crinkle cut, diced, pickled or plain

I wanted to ask you since I have a small cast iron, I have left it to proof in the fridge for 37 hours, but since the pot is small I will have to divide it, should I let it rest again?

unwanted advise: get a indiction plate for 50$ and save a ton of money on gas. and gas makes the air toxic too!
@mysticmama_36922 күн бұрын
So...use more electricity? Where do you think most electricity comes from in the US? You do realize there are emissions with that as well...right? Not to mention her kitchen is small...so you would suggest spending MORE money to put more crap on her counter that she doesn't have room for and doesn't need. You pick and choose your battles...I guarantee you that you're exposed to all sorts of toxins in your own home without knowing it, so please don't judge others for using what is already available to them. You would absolutely stroke out if you knew how much gas is pumped into the kitchens of your favorite restaurants and then you go and sit in there and eat...exposing yourself to 1,000x the amount of toxins than she produces making one single meal.
@TheMntnG2 күн бұрын
@ dude relax, I don‘t go out to eat and I don‘t sit in restaurant kitchens. this is vancouver, hydro-electricity. and a small induction plate can be put on top of the useless gas-hob. yes, pick your battle. and one of the most important one is the one against gas in residential households.
@mysticmama_36922 күн бұрын
@TheMntnG while you may use hydro electricity where you are, most of the world doesn't. As for gas in households...that's honestly up to the person. If there is already a gas stove in your home, and you don't have a stick up your ass like you...then by all means, there's nothing wrong with using what you have.

Being frugal is underrated. Time is money and money is time. Use it wisely and on the things you care about.

I love your attitude! I have a spending addiction, kind of brought on by 3 years being housebound from developing a chronic illness. I was buying EVERY DAY all sorts of things that I just don’t need! No more! 2025 I am monitoring what I spend and I so want to be like you. I already prefer cotton clothes to polyester/plastic but veganism is making it tricky with footwear to avoid plastic… I’m going for second hand and rubber wellington boots as an alternative. Plus using the things I have until they have no life left in them. X

I have an alarm clock like this but it's from Amazon wayyy cheaper. I have had this for a while so not influenced. Obviously not encouraging people to shop on Amazon. I got it because I like having it as a warm light while reading in bed. It's multi purpose a lamp/alarm clock.

That was one of the reasons I stopped going on IG, scrolling through wanting stuff other ppl had. But even now I am not financially stable so this stops me from buying unnecessary stuff. I'm still in the process of getting rid of stuff I've hoarded over the last two decacades and I'm really enjoying the feeling of not having stuff and not being attached to items (and more space too). I see it as a good thing that NZ is so far away from the Amazon based in the US and shipping is too expensive so it makes us reconsider buying stuff

Why would someone who has been buying from the brand for years or even decades suddenly have to pay 50-60% more for the exact same item? Inflation cannot justify this. It's like the brand is deceiving the consumer. On kislux , the bags sold are priced lower but of higher quality, so you might as well go there.

I do this too! Like half my wardrobe is stuff that people in my life didn’t want. It’s amazing what people will just give you, if you make it known that you’re happy to accept stuff. Like I never ask, but friends and family offer me stuff regularly and I return the favour if there’s something I can’t use.
