Higher risk to become a murderer, a liar, a thief, a bamboozler, a stalker, a criminal,…INDEED YES!! First, frustration, from insult to inflict shame. Shame throws them into a pit of emptiness and they rage to survive. As they crawl outta their pit of shame, those claws inflict all the pain necessary for the narcissist to save themselves, No No No. To save the false self. Whosever body was nearby at the time is the one who goes bye bye. It can be a stranger.

PREDATORY BEHAVIOUR OF A SINGLE FATHER WITH BOUNDARY ISSUES IN A DATING ENVIRONMENT: A recent experience, dating scenario of working towards marriage and life partnership. The event feels bait, trap, rough sex and discard immediately. His excuse, child severely unwell (no proof or evidence) high temperature which required his attention, he fled without acknowledgment to his partner after the event, hours later or the day after. The behaviour seems premeditated and disturbing. Almost unnoticeable and innocent too

This is really interesting. I read about how a lot of these kids are preoccupied with revenge fantasy and go from fantasy to acting our their aggressions. I started learning about this stuff from a book subtitled Understanding the Emergence of Modern Violent Crime by Stone. A few years ago I ran into someone that had many of the behaviors you listed. They mentioned their past events to me in a casual manner. It left me pretty disturbed. Now I keep a sharper eye when I interact with people.

What Are your thoughts on people online? Saying they're psychopaths and had the psychopathy. Check was done on them but, they never went to prison and they never had it done on them. For risk assessment pearl or sentencing. No I don't believe these people in their safe diagnosed psychopaths when they 1 day had this test done on them Especially if it wasn't ethical.

I suspect there is a connection between porn addiction and sexual abuse because like every addiction the fantasy to get the same dopamine rush gets more extreme over time. I suspect we’re dealing in a sense with an aspect of chronic addiction.

I have a year and a few months left to graduate with my bachelor of forensic psychology. Then, im applying for the dual program (masters in CJ and doctorate in clinical psychology). I've been working in the mental health field for about 6 years, and I LOVE IT. I've always had a fascination in the forensic field. I'm so excited!

I’m glad you took the time to explain all of this. I’ve been downvoted on forums so often for trying to explain exactly that: not all child abusers are pedophiles (and not all pedophiles are abusers). I also hear a lot of “sexual abuse is not about sex at all, it’s about control” from people supposedly qualified to judge sexual abuse, which is clearly a highly unscientific thing to say. But what I’d like to remark is that you did not shed light on the coercive offender who sees signs of sexual interest that are simply not there, nor on the intellectually challenged type that displays sexually inappropriate behavior in public or coerces another person (be it a child, teen or an adult) in an animalistic manner. Being a woman, I have unfortunately had first-hand experiences with several of those types of offenders and what I often noticed was that people I tried to tell it to would not believe me “because that guy is just so nice, he couldn’t possible have done that”. Apparently, according to them, being friendly in a lot of instances (or pretending to be) and being sexually coercive are mutually exclusive. As are having a wife and kids and being a child abuser 🙄 I guess you also need to accept most people are not very bright and therefore are not skilled at drawing logical conclusions.

This was a very needed topic that we needed to delve into. Thank you for uploading. If these people arent killing us they are driving us to kill ourselves as JanneKong said. They are a danger to society. They should live in segregated environments away from their victims. Predators/narcisist lives on their side of the fence and prey/empaths live on their side of the fence. Government should consider seperating these two types of people, pull out a census and then seperate these two so that no one will murder & victimize the other. That is the only way to solve this.

I am homosexual. Throughout my life, I have always found some guys below 18 quite attractive, always post-pubescent. I think, no matter the sexuality, this is not unusual. That said, I also find certain males of every age group attractive. I have observed that we are very hypocritical, as a society. People lack honesty about their feelings and about their preferences. In all matters, be authentic.

Narcissists are easily offended but are silent about it. That's what makes them deadly. They're very lazy too. Instead of working to get out of a relationship they no longer want to be in, they'll off the person instead? They don't believe in honest communication because they are entitled and shouldn't have to explain themselves. If they have to explain something to you then you are unworthy in their minds. They should be given the best of everything and everybody else gets breadcrumbs. I grew up with narcissists and had relationships with narcissists, worked with narcissists, went to school with narcissists, and eventually they all did try to murder me. Hard to believe, but it's true. When they start behaving like there's something wrong with you and say things like they don't know what to do with you, or ostracize you, those are red flags to get out of Dodge because the next step is you might not be here. I know what you mean that the word "narcissism" is used a lot, but narcissism is rampant in our society and has been for a long time. I think your putting narcissistic personalities together with their ability to commit murder is a serious valid point people should keep in mind. It's taken me years to face the fact my parents wanted to kill me. It's hard to believe a parent would feel that way about their children, but we see the outcome frequently in news stories.

I get fed up with these so say "experts" they are do blinkered, they cannot not even see they have blinkers on. Where is the mention of what creates a sex offender. There is very little research on this. One part I did read, which i would tend to believe is that the cause can be found in the childhood environment or in more rare situations, a head injury. I support one long term offender in prison. I started communicating with him to try and work out what the origins of his offending. More recently in New Zealand, there has been a Royal Commission of Inquiry into child abuse in State Care. A large number of these victims ended up in prison. There has been an apology by the PM in Parliament and there is a process of monitory compensation being paid out now. The prisoner I support is in receipt of such compensation. From my other knowledge and personal experience, I can see that not all pedophiles are the same. I get fed up with pretentious clowns like this presenter who refuses to look at the root causes. He really is so ignorant he does not know how ignorant he is - maybe he is wrong and had created a video of the causes of pedophilia.. ?

I am retired and used to work in law enforcement. I always found individuals interesting in their behaviors and how a guy that is 19 dates a 17 year old girl can find himself on the wrong side of the law. Our laws are a bit over the top in some instances and actually cause great harm. In some places the laws do not go far enough and we see offenders repeat and the punishment is often not enough.

Hello, doc. First of all, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! I'm curious if you heard about smartschoolboy9 - pretty interesting and truly bizarre case. Apparently, he's a man in his 50 sharing unsettling content, where he dresses in a school uniform and high-heeled boots, he's making very deranged, heavily edited post with kids. Honestly, you just gotta see it because this whole situation blew up recently and there's so much to it. I was wondering, if you could look up at this case and maybe make a video analysis, maybe some kinda evaluation based on information he posted, or just in general talk about such bizarre cases. I'm sure people will be interested to hear a proper expertise because I see that many people are just trying to wrap their head of this person and no one understand why he's acting this way.

I appreciate your feedback. I am familiar with the terms CSEM and CSAM. I use CSAM in reports frequently nowadays. That's the term the legal system seems to use more. Are there ways for clinicians to intervene effectively when kids engage in these preparatory behaviors?
@dr.jeffkieliszewskiforensi3081
@dr.jeffkieliszewskiforensi3081 2 ай бұрын
Yes. In most cases, treating the underlying mental health problems and social challenges (there almost always is) with counseling and/or medication can help and help to prevent the kid from 'going down that road' again. However, there are also those cases out there (usually with adult shooters) where they are set on carrying out evil and the best way to intervene (if you can before the act) is legally (arrest, intense probation supervision, or prevent access to weapons).

We need to seriously revamp compulsory attendance. And redesign schools to be student centered. School should be a safe place where children are encouraged to thrive and grow.. not just comply and have to stop with the inmate mentality .. We need to understand - kids who feel trapped by compulsory attendance resort to fight, flight, or freeze when under a perceived threat. - kida who feel trapped by bullying .. resort to fight flight freeze.. Deal with the bullies ..

I was one of those kids! I grew up in a rural area and had a gun rack in my pickup. My own theory - I don't have any science behind it... The idea of causing mass violence at school now seems like a plausible option for those who want to do violence in a dramatic way. Moving towards this type of act usually involves A LOT of fantasy and planning. And, nowadays they can find stories of school shootings easily online and use this content to fantasize and build a plan. We did not have that years ago. The kids I talked to that almost did it - they spent hours using this content to fantasize about what it would be like if they did the same thing.

I just realized that I experienced each of these types of sexual abusers throughout my life. I was molested by my stepfather from probably infancy until school-age. Then I lost my virginity when I was 14 to a 40 year old man and as a young adult I was raped when I was passed out and also through force. The only type of sexual abuse I have not experienced is violent rape, which I would find horrifying. This is eye-opening!
