I am living proof that Saint Peter is still spreading the gospel today as he did in the early days. I, like him, lived a life full of sin. No purpose or guidance. I went from being born in Pentecostalism to borderline Atheism to now Roman Catholicism. I threw my entire life into my career. Traveled the world. But still couldn’t find my happiness and fullness of life. Then, my good friend (Catholic) died and I found myself praying for his soul with our other friends and their families for 40 days. It began as “I don’t know what I’m doing it but it’s what our beloved friend wanted.” Then I began to have dreams. Dreams that sparked a flame. And each day as I prayed for his soul, the closer I began to feel the Holy Spirit. A feminine energy came over me, which calmed my ego. Mother Mary heard my pleas to help us pray for him. But learning about Peter, the rock who built the church, I found myself in his story. I have always known the Holy Spirit as a Pentecostal child, but for the first time in my life, I truly felt anointed by the Holy Spirit in a much bigger way. I will never just accept the Lord and Savior into my life anymore, but I truly give my life to him. Now I know why Catholics can be devout. I grew up in a church that judged them, pitied them, chastised them. But upon the rock, God built his church and called me Home, Praise God the Almighty. We are all Children of God. Surrender. Never judge other churches is what I learned. The one church I never thought I would join is now my home. Thank you, Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

I am so impressed by the extraordinary transformation of Saint Peter from an ordinary fisherman to one of the pillars of the Christian Church.
