So nice to see a horse reaching for the bit. Love the actual change of bend all the way from the head to the tail.

I was not working this day in 1995, and this Volvo dressage event was on. I watched it and loved the music along with yhis phenomenal performance. I was so touched... I was bawling... it stirred my heart to thr core. So much so that I called the Volvo company and begged them to send me the video of this exact performance of Anky and Bonfire. The gentleman was so kind and worked hard to obtain and mail the VHS of it! The memory of it just came up in my mind tonight so I brought it up on KZbin, only to get chills and cry again! Love, love, love this!!

Gorgeous horse, obviously very athletic. I see signs of tension and poor handling. His poll is not the highest point, occasional opening of the mouth and tail thrashing, his toes flick in the extended trot meaning his back is tense, and in the piaffe his front fore and right hind are not in unison, losing the rhythm of the move.

Please don’t take this ever off of KZbin. My dad made this kür (Ali Schöneburg) and its the only way I can see him sometimes. He is the one in the music booth with the yellow shirt.

Awwwww! and then Edward Gal came along and added to Anky’s Rollkur the resistance bands that are widely used in DHH harness horse training, and the new era had begun: high front leg action and ruined piaffes, lagging hind legs, and maximum pain. LDR / Rollkur plus hackney methods = more medals.

#Tuigpaard training / #Saddleseat methods. Glock horses are obedient circus performers, drenched in sweat. Reminds us of this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4OYiWVnhJKsj8Usi=m9aJtdnVpPxI_H-N&t=110

Tortillas had incredible front elevations and suspension. Gal was able to use that natural talent to perfection. This is not a horse abused by rollkur. His entire rib cage lifts the rider with great power no sign of over flexion. Finally, the horse is one with his rider, listening, concentrating and joyous in his expression. Fabulous unique stallion and fabulous rider to bring it out of him. Absolute joy to watch.

Yes, Blue Hors had mostly Trakehner blood. Kostolany was her grandpa and also Totilas' gramps. Kostolany himself had an amazing pedigree, going back all the way to Dampfross and Tempelhüter.

Beautiful in every way. Flawless transitions across the board- and not a hint of tension or anxiety in the horse. Even his tail movements seemed to be about concentration and not resistance. So inspiring.

Fun fact: Valegro (then Blueberry) was considered to not be a good stallion prospect according to the KWPN (I think they thought that his legs are too short). It sparked a bit of a debate in the breeding world, once he started winning.

wonderful to see a horse in self carriage , even the tempis , all the transitions and so on. why is it so difficult to ride a horse in self carriage ? I think it should be the goal of all dressage training plus it is so much nobler than all the flash we have to see today.the finale here to halt is otherworldly beautiful and perfect. A great inspiration ; Dr Klimke and Ahlerich

I weep for that horse's mouth, jaw, poll. these modern "riders" need to review Dr Klimke and his contemporaries. The judges as well. this is not harmony; it's fasicsm.

Dass dieser Rollkur Bullshit so hoch bewertet wurde, zeigt, wie im Arsch die Fei samt Richtern ist. Das hier hat nichts mit Klassischer Dressur zu tun
