I'm currently putting a 12hp sideshaft engine in my 87 samurai. I had a 1.6 8v put I had to pull the motor to out a clutch in it. It's just a toy so I'm going to use the bad clutch and make it with a sideshaft engine. All I have left is to make the engine plate and bolt it down. I already made the hub that will slide over the input shaft
