In Brazil we like to do "galinhada", Which is basically a dish made like chicken cooked with some vegetables and rice, similar to the Greek rice in the last recipe, but of course with a lot of Brazilian seasoning.

My husband’s family calls polish stuffed cabbage rolls “pigs in a blanket” as they use ground pork. It was introduced to the family in the coal towns of Pennsylvania.

Someday your children will say, "My mom's was better." It applies to all moms and all foods . . . .

It is nice to have food names I mean why do you call green beans green beans? I mean calling green beans a Green beans is like calling human being a human being it's not our name it's what we are 😂 just food for thought and to say we should have names for foods

Most people are soup people (but often become stew people if we are hungry).

You can always just chip the onions smaller before caramelization or afterwards, chop them in a bowl with scissors or on a cutting board a bit.

As a Russian I know almost every of these dishes except tomato soup. Ours are little different, but not too much and I love them all.

Kouign-amann I would say just Kouign-amann. French breton butter cake. When I eat it, I feel like they crisped sweet butter.

Wait...Americans call it "Stuffed Cabbage"? Canadian here and it's always been "Cabbage Rolls" to me. Pro Tip: If you like pickles, try making your cabbage rolls with sour cabbage. You can find it in the grocery store in the produce area. This is the only way my Grandma made them because we all liked the tang it gave the rolls. She also used Clamato for the tomato sauce (those that know, know).

I grew up with Mac and cheese. My mom made it with tomato soup using milk, can of tomatoes, then mixing it up with the noodles in a casserole dish. Add the cheese mix some in and cover it all with the rest of the cheese.
