I can understand being frustrated that your main was nerfed, but if you haven't played for a while you may not be aware of how strong Hiro was. Hito was objectively overtuned at all levels of play. Some nerfs were absolutely warranted. Hero clarifications (Vanguard, Heavy, etc) have no impact on gameplay since the Dominion rework. They're just labels.

I mean, I'm a hito main, and to said the least... i dont feel much difference playing them. It just made new players less able to spam someone to death or no brain them. 125 health can be counter with bulk up. Raising the health back to 141. I never used bastion before this change, so there's not much change for me on this. You still can perform 50/50 with her. She still can trade as she is intended to do, and the trajectory of her heavy is still the same on the left or right size so you can still catch people in your mind games if you feint kick into heavy at the right timing, or even if you try to just fully charge up.

@@Norgoz I think One for me is definitely Kyoshin. He has 5 different variations of his wonderful chest pieces (Including alternates). When we compare how much steeze they used to shower old dlc characters with and then compare them to the ones now, you can see that we barely have any variety for them. And it sucks. I would’ve said the same for the head pieces but at least some of them look fashionable.

@@Norgoz Every hero since medjay has launched with only two armor sets, and 3 variants of each. Every hero since marching fire used to release with 3 distinct armor sets. Launch heroes and y1 dlc launched with four distinct armor sets

Yes, there will be a patch soonTM. Heavy off heavy parry will no longer be a 1-frame parry window and should be easier to parry. Heavies off parry (both light/heavy) are full damage and therefore would be overtuned for a heavy parry counter.

I'm pretty sure the devs said u are supposed to get soul heavy off light parry but they said there is a bug allowing it to be parried which will be fixed

Good catch. I believe the issue was only with heavy on heavy parry. I'm not certain that a heavy is meant to be confirmed under those circumstances. I'll go back to that moment in the den and I'll try to get some further clarification if needed.

Follow-up: Heavy on heavy parry is not intended in it's current state. They currently have full finisher damage values (20/18), so unless those numbers are adjusted, I don't expect heavy on heavy parry to be a punish once adjusted.

The base/starter mask does not have a version that changes. The cloth around the mask does. The alternate version is a different facemask. The alternate in the video is the last one in the list, the one I don't have unlocked, that resembles a Shinobi mask.

ADDITIONAL NOTES I was exceptionally sleep deprived when filming and editing this video (still am). Here are some details I missed or were inaccurate: - Only Top Light is "blue" undodge-able - Light GB punish is Left/Right/Top - Heavy GB punish is Right/Left/Top - Wall spat does NOT confirm Seven-Force Strike (as it should then become dodge-able after bash). However, not shown here, there is a timing to catch opponents as they come out of hitstun that will guarantee Seven Force Strike. I shall add to this list if anything else strikes me as pertinent. Edit: Added Top Light only blue and further details for Wall Splat punish.

Instead of constantly bringing in new heroes that have things like gender lock and 3 armor sets that look almost identical, it would be really good to rework the old heroes. And by rework, I don't mean giving the Warden the same armor with a new texture, for example.

Most heroes who use shields can have patterns placed on their shield using the 'Left' section of the customization menu. Just need a pattern that fits the look you're going for and uses the parts of the color wheel you want on the shield.
