In IV you can take cover & shoot around corners, unlike vice city . But Ben try to play like it’s supposed to be regular VC. And bitches about how unbalanced the mod is. AI is not that smart, you should be able to out smart it

I have no idea how you managed to do Demolition Man, the controls are impossible. I had to cheat. I usually don't struggle but the physics felt like I was piloting an Annihilator but the size of an RC Goblin.

I thought this was vice city modded to remaster it but it's freaking gta 4 ,absolutly incredible. Gotta live the excess taxi's around as good old gta 4 modded About the "the game feels slow" 4 is my favorite and watching this it does feel slow especially the cars, i think since the city is small they made the car speed comparable to vc, in IV the cars where sluggish but not this much, but i haven't played yet, i wanna try this asap

1:26:10 Not sure how far you've gotten into understanding the problem cuz I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but my guess as to why the game crashes at the hospital (and probably police station as well upon arrest) is the info feed for losing your cash (and weapons when arrested) doesn't properly work. I've noticed about 95% of the upper left info feeds have been disabled, likely due to stability issues. The death and arrest ones might not have been removed, or can't be removed without tweaking the death/arrest mechanics, which the devs probably careful about changing as IV's death punishments vary drastically compared to VC's.

Yeah 4 doesn't take a set cut out of your money like in all the previous games ($100) but a percentage of how much you had known death.

Also are the packages in check point Charlie coffins? Cause it would cool if they are. I have a friend who worked with the FBI back in the 90’s and she said all the drug runners in Miami would use coffins filled with coke and toss them into the water by helicopter for the boats to pick up.

Its exactly what Definitive edition of GTA Vice City should've been, same wth SA and III. Only other thing i would do is add imrpovements and some of the map changes from VCS and beta content restored.

This mod makes VC map feel so much bigger as u not just drive across the whole map in 1 minute. And missions which Ben calls unbalanced are actually now feel like a real dungerous challenge shooting heavily armed organized crime guys

It's really odd that this is based off vanilla GTA 4 and not TBOGT. The DLC's text colours and UI would fit better for Vice City. it already had a machine gun they could replace with the M60 so they wouldn't have to make some weird janky one out of the auto sniper, it already had the golf carts with appropriate engine sounds and characteristics.

You make very good points. I get it's just a team of 4 people so in a way, those things get a pass. But it still has a lot of things to improve. Right now it's just a fun thing but doesn't replace the OG VC

it's GTA4, not TLaD; if it WERE based off TLaD, you should know it's part of the EFLC expansion pack, and it shares the same assets with TBoGT (minus a few ones, specifically unobtainable in the vanilla DLCs, but you can access them with trainers), so they are just incompetent

3:36:35 bugs rambling Cone smushing - is NOT a bug, I believe the minigame was tested and the devs thought it's OK, thus it's expected behaviour T-pose in the cutscene - not a bug, because it doesn't impact the gameplay, Boat clipping - this is a bug Mission not failing after a boat got upside down - yes, obviously s bug

All they had to do is to change the subtitles, since the devs didn't make the cones smashable, they detect any slight dislocation. Not sure why he got so mad about it and just abandoned the mission when it didn't go his cheesy way of doing it, because it probably works as devs intended after all. It's got ridiculous to the point that he bitterly jokes "ah, they fixed it" about every minor bug that he encounters onwards lmao

Here's the thing in the original, if you destroy one cone, the mission fails like as it should but here, if you just move the cone one pixel, the mission fails and the title still says "you smashed a cone" if it says "don't touch to cones", that would make more sense
