Seven zeroes amount of money looks better, because that way the "UI box" looks completed, as a simple rectangle, with time and weapon being two other corners. The six wanted stars was also scaled to be the same width, and I think it was a deliberate decision of the devs. Without that consistency, the whole UI corner lack any rhyme or reason so to say.

23:56 I'd suggest having an option to turn it off, for people such as myself who don't like AI voices and find its use unethical. (Especially in this case, since Tommy's VA, Ray Liotta, is dead) Like how Sindacco Chronicles gives you that option.

Interesting idea! I'll write this down to investigate, if/when this becomes relevant (give me a few years :P). Wouldn't you find it morally wrong to play my mod at all, if it would include AI voices, regardless of whether you could turn it off?

​@@nlspeed5254Well i dont see why would it be wrong? Is it wrong to listen to the voice of the person when they die? Or watching their recordings? I dont think its wrong unless it's used for bad faithed stuff

@@nlspeed5254 Ideally if we had voices, I'd rather have real people and impressions. Considering I've been turned off by other mods, such as Tightened, that use them I would say probably yes. I just can't really put the whole using voices that were stolen and used without permission of the actor or their estate. Especially when so many have spoken up against it (or again like Liotta who is dead). Not to mention the several other factors with AI. I think that's probably one of the reasons Sindacco Chronicles had an option to turn it off. Since they likely knew there would be a subset of people who'd rather not deal with that crud.

I'm keeping it hidden for a reason. This 0.1 pre-alpha test purely exists to catch all the things Ben points out; as the developer I inherently develop certain things that are obvious in my mind, but complicated/stupid/unreasonable in a player's mind. So far I have developed 25.5 (26th is almost complete) missions - take for instance the utterly loud mission passed tunes or the epilepsy-inducing skip cutscene feature, on my laptop the mission passed tunes sound fine and I never even thought about that skipping a cutscene could be uncomfortable to the eyes. So now I sat down and figured out a way to make skipping cutscenes look nice - and then I had to go through 26 missions to put that change in every single cutscene present there, same for reducing the audio. That takes time. Better to know that up front, hence a playtest. :) So on that note, if you do have any criticism or feedback, please do share!

​@@baxterbunny4403 The obvious answer is 1992, because the map of San Andreas is made to resemble 1992 - and I did rename Phnom Penh '86 to Phnom Penh '92 - but, this mod is not something that chronologically takes place within the 3D-verse. This mod is more of an alternate reality, an answer to the question 'what if the entire 3D-verse took place in the same time and at the same place'. With virtually all of the characters from all these games, with the same character traits (in as much as we know them - and with my own interpretations, of course), but with different experiences, different people they interacted with, possibly different allegiances, and all that leading to them behaving in certain ways in a grand story.

Ha, indeed! I redesigned every zone's population parameters (the amount and categories of cars/peds that spawn), and every car/ped category (e.g. which cars/peds are part of 'beach people', which are part of 'rich people', et cetera) to have a nice variety of nice vehicles (e.g. you'll find Banshees in the Badlands so you're not stuck with Tractors) and to include every single vehicle in the game (so yes, you are going to find Monster Trucks and Hotring Racers as part of the desert traffic, for example). I hope this makes every area feel just a bit more distinctive and unique, especially with all the added vehicles (virtually all vehicles from all 3D-era GTA games have been added). I assume you are referring to e.g. the Karts, which now spawn as part of the beach category, and I intentionally put a large 'beach' presence around Caligula's (notice all the Vice City beach peds? :) ) to remind you of Ocean Beach in Vice City. Because if there is one location that oozes nostalgic ambiance, it is that (see also the Caligula View Hotel with the familiar gold-white Oceanic). :)

I always favoured Vice City's colours over San Andreas's colours, and do keep in mind that so far you have only seen Las Venturas, with flashy neon-lit casino's and similarly flashy sportscars. Poorer neighbourhoods will have cars that look poorer, either through their colours being more dull, or through their colours being oddly unmatching. But yes, the game is much more colourful. :)
