@TexasPatriotOffRoadAndOutdoors It is really good I'll say that lol, and so comfortable in the hand its like it was made to fit me perfectly 🤣. If you get one in s35vn, you're probably going to end up getting the magnacut version too lol. Having both wouldn't be a problem tho 🤣, personally I'd grab it if you have a good line on one, then have the magnacut too if you wanted 🤣. Either version will hold their value as well, if you decided you didn't need both. Check out the later video on this knife where I show the sheath mod I came up with for it that makes the sheath a home run!

@@Crazypitbull16 It would be a tough decision really, but I would choose the 178. It's a bit more comfortable in hand, has a larger saw, can be purchased with a full fine edge blade, and the blade itself is a touch bigger as well. The OHT is an excellent tool though and very capable, what would really stand out the most is how tall the finger hole is in the blade when closed. It's a little proud when using the other tools, but it's not bad enough that it's a no go either. You would be very well served with either one and I haven't found the reverse serations to be that much of a problem on the OHT, I do like the fine edge closer to the handle for carving tasks and the serrations towards the end on aren't a problem. I hope that helps lol, and if you have any other questions I'll try my best to answer it. 👍

@Owl2791 im not sure what that means, but I did understand the Esee 6 part lol and it is basically the same overall length. The Eafengrow does have noticeably thicker stock than the Esee 6. The blade height is also bigger than the Esee 6, and they are completely different grinds. I prefer the flat grind, or saber grind, or high flat grind, whichever you choose call it, over the full flat grind of the Esee 6 lol. The Esee 6 is also a bit lighter weight over the Eafengrow. The Esee 6 also uses an injection molded sheath and 1095 blade steel, while the Eafengrow sheath uses kydex and AUS-10 blade steel. That was a long list lol but if you would like to see a video comparing the two directly, that wouldn't be a problem! Thanks for watching! 👍

@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548 No matter how unlikely a situation may be in life, we always seem to find ourselves in them. Murphys Law. The true test is knowing and understanding the threats and developing a plan that prioritizes life and security over comfort and stability. In war and disaster, we operate and thrive in chaos. I was a federal and state emergency management and HAZMAT responder for most of my career. We were brifed quarterly on threats and had to develop plans with LEPCs for response and recovery efforts. People don't have a clue how bad things can get and how much society is hanging by a thread. Sadly, the government is more focused on keeping people unaware due to economic stability. I will share this with you, and you can do with it what you will. Every year, the #1 threat to America was the loss of power and our electrical grid. Estimates are 3-7 days before total collapse, with plans in place for martial law beginning at day two. We did everything from nuclear attacks and plants, biological warfare, chemicals, food supply, and water safety, you name it, but everything is tied into the grid. When it goes, so does everything else, and the government knows and has known for over a decade.

Hello. If we put tap water directly into the bottle through the cap without having to use the filter, the filter is not used and it does not wear it out?
@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548
@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548 5 ай бұрын
@steffrouen you are correct. They made a silicone one way valve for adding drink mixes, the one way valve only allows water in and nothing can back thru it and get into the filter. @steffrouen no it should not effect the filter at all, of course before you do make sure the valve is properly seated. You can take it apart after using it like that and see if water got into the filter, but I really don't think that it will since the purpose of that valve is to keep drink mixes from ruining the filter. Therefore, it only allows water to flow in one direction and not back thru the valve.

I only got into large fixed blade knives around 7 years ago. Started with the Schrade schf37 and schf51 models. Both Chinese and budget knives. I’ve used the 51 for 6 years as an archaeological implement after the tip broke off on a pry test. Though the tip broke off that schf51 has dug up hundreds of civil war relics here in Maryland, near the Antietam battlefield, used as a pry tool solely. I’m thoroughly impressed with it. After said knife broke I decided to cough up the $ in 2020 for the bk9. I’m a landscaper by trade and use it daily. It’s truly a wonder. I’ve also used it to split logs nearly 12 inches in circumference just for the fun of it, been dropped from twenty feet numerous times down cliffs, left out in the snow and rain for weeks at a time. Soaked in boeschield T9 a couple times a year and it just goes n goes!
