Yes, BUT it is really skate dependent. If you get slower skates they will feel really slow for example

Great review. For the issue you were having with the mouse not working on your pc. It could be a driver issue. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the mouse drivers on device manager. Ive had that issue on some of the mice i own and that fixed it.

@@lelouchz6500 No, no, the dongle light doesn't matter as long as the mouse works you're good! :) I do think that you can make the light glow all the time, but don't quote me on that

mini is fire u just hatin >:( . Idk the shape seems so lit it stands out a lot ;D i put some super cute arrow shapped grip on the two main mouse buttons feels fire :D. I also put some black control skates on it theyre hella lit too ;D

HE really feels way overhyped imo. Spending $100+ on a peripheral which will marginally improve your performance in a video game just doesn't really make sense to me (unless you're already a professional gamer), especially when you can get a custom (traditional mechanical switch kb) for the same price which will look, sound, and feel better. If money is not a factor, go crazy, but otherwise spending that money on a dedicated gaming peripheral feels quite goofy.

Marginally improves performance, and will basically never break. The latter is a huge selling point for me. I can't justify say $80 for a reg mechanical keyboard with switches that will break

@@insertnamehere4419 longevity is in no way a selling point for he over mx most mx switches are rated for 20+ million cycles. which is ~50+ years at 1000 activations/day. also you can just replace them any time you want, for ~20 cents a switch. you're more likely to have issues with your pcb than mx or he switches in that kind of time frame lol

@@insertnamehere4419 i get not wanting to do regular maintenance on a kb, but swapping an mx switch takes all of 30 seconds at most. and mx switches last for tens of millions of keypresses, so you'd only need to replace some every few decades. personally, I'd rather just have the $100 now rather than a few minutes in a couple decades, but you do you

Wooting also offers ISO, unfortunately I exclusively buy ANSI so I completely ignore ISO. I’ll pay more attention to it in the future

I-m excited to buy this keyboard but i can't because my current one has no problems, i should sell it probably only then buy the wooting, i have a razer one and it fells low quality compared to what i'm seeing from wooting, be it the technology, latency but also the sound, it sounds higher quality (in my opinion) than my current blackwidow v3

Playing a game every day makes you better. Better gear can make you a better player, sure, but if you suck and buy gear for hundreds of dollars you will still suck. Learning mechanics > new gear

I’ve been using the keyboard with gateron jade switches for a while now and it’s amazing. Next step for a kb upgrade should be an aluminum case. I love the product just as much as the community as well.

Just put in an order for one yesterday. Have been running my gen 1 superlight for about 3 years now, and I'm starting to get the occasional double click or sticky left click but it's not consistent enough of an issue for me to archive it yet - I'll likely keep using it for a while even when the Sora V2 arrives. That said, it's absolutely insane to me that these guys are able to offer this 39g mouse for $100. Not being well-versed in the mouse world, really only having the superlight as experience, I thought I'd be having to spend $200-250 or maybe even more to get something that was significantly more lightweight than the superlight - not that I *need* something insanely light, just want to try it. I have to give these guys huge props for coming out with a mouse this light without any weird holes or designs, and a quality build, sensor, and pair of switches. For $100, if you just want a really light mouse I can't see anyone really going wrong with this.

I have both the Xd7 and the Helios pro 2 4k. Both devoloped switch issues within a couple of months of medium use. The Helios 2 being the most egregious, where both main switch opticals have failed. Mouse 1 being the worst crunch I have had on any mouse. Mouse 2 is not far behind. Tried to fix it but it soon returned. On the Xd7, mouse 5 button literally gets stuck in the shell regularly. Needs to be pried out. Both are currently unusable. I loved both offering's but cant trust Fantech's qc a third time. This is a regretable pass on the new Helios for me.

It's all good. The shiity optical clicks in the og Helios pro 2 are a known issue, its why they changed to the Huano blue pink dots in the updated version I believe. For the record, I've had issues with other companies too. I buy a lot of mice or mouses.. It's just that Fantech's both offerings were let down by quality issues too soon after purchase.

@@popsbis1891 Fantech's optical switch was not optimal compared to other mice. Fantech applied the Huano blue pink dots switch to prioritize the clicky-feels.

I was thinking about getting these some time ago, and i i think i would have picked them up if i didn’t switch so frequently between glass and cloth. Pretty cool idea though, I’m sure they’re gonna make a more refined skate in the future that’s going to satisfy more people. Great review, ty!

The issue you had where the mouse just stops working was also happening to my original x2 mini, I was ashamed because I really liked the shape so I was watching some reviews for the x2 v2 thinking of buying it and it seems there are still issues except for the collab versions. Since it's been a few months is there any updates regarding that particular issue?
