I enjoyed this video for the mere fact that she included the 2 toddlers. You were spot on when you said “they were experts”. For that reason I decided to subscribe to your channel. BTW, I failed the sitting to rising test, but I’ll keep practicing.

I've started doing TCB to relieve shoulder pain from a partial tear. I have a 4-lb medicine ball, but I want to get a light one like yours, with the nubs on it. Do you have a source?

Thanks Anita. I think the test is bogus. Many ppl who are otherwise very fit cannot come up cross legged for many reasons.

Thank you Ms Anita Boser. I can do SRT exercise easily. However I have relatives and friends finding it very hard to pass the SRT. So I was sad. Now I am thrilled with joy to help them.

Thank you so much for doing this introduction to your book. I love what you say about stretching vs. contracting! Having always been an undulator, at 62 I still lay on my back playing with my toes like a baby and wiggling and roll around on the floor a lot. so it's interesting to find an actual book that teaches this to help fine tune areas I may have missed. I do practice a style of qigong called Zhineng that has an advanced form that gets into all of the tendons and ligaments of the body, but I love this sort of automatic version of allowing the body to flow and listening to the body during the movements. No strain no gain!! And your reading about water was a lovely ending. Much like the Tao Te Ching. I look forward to the next recording. How do we sign up to follow you and ask questions? Is this a zoom meeting? Thank you.

the book might be all right, but why don't make a video course of all exercises? You are a yoga teacher so might now not all the people can follow written description of exercises....besides,with all free videos and video courses which are now offered on the net relieving stiffness with the help of a book is not so practical :-)

I'm glad you posted this! Recently I had a client who I discovered can't get down to the ground safely. She can get up from the ground, using a method she learned from watching a toddler, like in this video! I sent her the link you give at the end of the video, for the Progressions for getting down to the ground. Thank you for these offerings!

Thanks so much, Karin, and you are very welcome. As much as I respect movement professionals, I still consider babies and toddlers to be movement experts. It's their full-time job.

Thanks so much for considering those of us who have injury issues. Would you consider bringing some spine experts in to talk about sitting-rising for those of us with low back injuries (facet joint arhthritis, SI joint instability, disk degeneration, etc.)? Thank you!
