@@julianne7584 the best cheap option would be the r36s. If you want something the same screen ratio exactly as a GBA, maybe the Anbernic RG351p

@@reynangan8746 it did a little bit, but it still has slow downs on games that tax the processor. I wouldn't count on playing any 3d games on it.

@@richardwadereviews my favorite game in gba is zoids fuzors i got an english patch but it has slowdown for the stock firmware and also the kingdom of hearts not played well and gba video nickelodeon

@@reynangan8746 it is easy to update, so you could try. I would recommend the R36s console for GBA or maybe the rg351p from anbernic for GBA games.

@@richardwadereviews one last question and thank you for the response if you familiar the samurai deeper kyo gba game i have a bunch of retro handheld including sf2000 powkiddy v90 etc. but all of the standalone emulator on gba crashed to that game only the android phone can run smoothly to that game is there any thoughts for that or what is the perfect handheld device can run smoothly on that game? sure android can run great most of emulator but its not tactile as a handheld console has to offer.

@@richardwadereviews During games. Specifically, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, kunio kuns soccer league, and warriors of fate. Sometimes it does freeze in the in-game menu.

The SD card with the games is actually supplied by the distributor, so they are all different, but you can add any game you like. Just download the rom and put it in the right folder on the games section of the sd card.

The r36s looks like an upgrade of the r35s but only in the ergonomics and the battery door, the r36s has ddr3 that operates with 1.5 volts and have 800-2133 MTps and the r35s ddr4 1.2 volts and 2133-3200 MTps and means that r36s will have more latency and less of battery time. The brand is Data Frog, the problem with the r35s was that copied almost every aspect of the powkiddy rgb20s and they had to change the console to the r36s to keep selling without legal issues. the battery in both models is 3200 not 3500 mah

False advertising. R35s and R36s mounts 2x4Gb DDR3 SK Hynix H5TQ4G63AFR-RDC. Also the only one RK3326 (that it's a RK3326S really) device with DDR4 is the XU10: except from that device all the RK3326 based mounts DDR3/DDR3L chips

If you buy this device, you must install arkos the performance is night and day, n64 is slow on Jelos, but in arkos everything runs full speed. You won't regret moving over to Arkos, trust me.

Yes, but it will shorten the battery life if you do that. The battery is replaceable though!

Yes, you can use either, but it doesn't feel very good to me to do that.

@@richardwadereviews I have a Nintendo ds but I hate the control pad on it because it is so small and hard to do diagonal movement. On my pc I use an Xbox controller so I think the analog sticks will feel better.

There are some videos that explain how to use your license. you can't do it form the device itself. you have to activate your license and then copy the key in.

It's hard to say because every distributor puts different games on the games card. You can add your own PlayStation roms. You just have to rename the extension from the normal .bin or .iso to .pbp to get into recognize them. You don't actually have to convert the file type, just change the extension. That being said, I believe mine had at least one of them on it.

They are all sold by different sellers. Did you get it through Aliexpress? If so, sometimes they can refund your money. I always use them with paypal so I can dispute it if there are any issues.

I mean, you can always disable them through retroarch. They aren't really a part of the UI, but part of the retroarch submenu in game.

Overall, It's a good device considering the price. The community is working on a specific CFW that will allow Retroarch and other enhancements. I personally love this device!

Of all the games for the PSP, you decided to showcase Angry Birds? This is a great handheld, especially for it's price point, but this isn't a good experience if you are looking for a competent psp experience. Some games will play with no problem (like 2d games, and some lower end rpgs), but dont expect a great experience playing games like God of War. It's 100 bucks, so just keep your expectations modest.

It's not good for PSP because of the screen size. 16:9 content is too small. It is perfectly capable of it though and could be good on a television.

Bought one and its a great console for handheld console games, mine contained those games and is perfect for vertical arcade games, GBC, NeoGeo etc and of course 8bit/16bit games for stutters make sure the core is set to performance in Jelos, open the conole game listing hit select, advanced settings.

They actually fixed the Bluetooth issue with the new update, but retroarch still mixes up the inputs, so i have to get that figured out. One word of warning that I found out the hard way. If you need to do a factory reset, take out the games card. It will format it instantly. I had to use file recovery software to get it all back and it took three hours! :D
