What style of TKD is this? It seems that there are many different variations of the same poomsae (Taegeuk Il Jang) even within the same Kwan.

You are really good. My daughter was so worried about poomsae for her orange belt. This has helped her.

Thanks for posting this. My karate teacher decided to throw this at use mid class without any instructions. Showed the whole class once. People who had been there years never did it. I feel it was so irresponsible it makes me angry.

Thank you for this! My father wants me to do martial arts and taekwondo and I'm just getting started. I've never attended any courses yet but I plan to soon. Just trying to learn the basics and make myself more flexible before joining an actual course. This video had helped me perfect my stance and my kicks are soo much better!

Good to hear that you're not a fan of high or flashy kicks. Me either. It's martial arts, not gymnastics. Good video... thanks!

Love your videos! Like you mention, I find it a bit easier to focus exclusively on learning the moves without power at first, then adding power once they're memorized

I started Taekwondo classes about a month ago after mulling over it for 6 months. I went for a few weeks and now I haven't been in... like 3 or 4 weeks. I want to get back to it but I feel ashamed that I've abandoned it for a bit. I feel so stupid because I don't know what I'm doing and I have such terrible coordination and I'm so slow to process information and I give up easily. But I'm also so sick of letting fear control my life and preventing me from doing new things and growing. I want to be more disciplined and confident. Anyway, sorry about my rant. Thank you for the tutorial to jog my memory. Maybe I'll practice it at home. I probably won't. It's 11pm right now.
