Hi Kira, Harley and AAF friends! 😋 Yum to ALL things sourdough! It's my favorite type of bread, for SURE. Not only the taste, and versatility of it, but the fact that it definitely lasts THE longest, esp in the fridge, iS just another plus with it! the same as a house with good attic insulation If snow is packed on the roof then little to no heat is escaping, but if the snow is melting then insulation is poor.

If the temp gets too high they absolutely will get too warm. I take them off if it goes above 32, and if it’s below they’re almost always blanketed. But not all horses require them. Each is individual.

Horses grow a thick winter coat, and don't need blanketing. Give them a pole barn or loafing shed and they will do well unless it's horrible freezing rain.

I'm a female veteran who joined in 79! I remember the standards I had to meet during pt testing! The current standards have been lowered so much it's infuriating! Of course, it's the same for our education system! I, one million percent, agree with Pete! Those UnHinged senators questioning him were, as you said, uneducated about actual service men n women!

That’s true! There are different weights of blankets and some do it to not grow a winter coat. But I like mine being natural. I do blanket them, but only when it’s very cold or very wet lol.

I blanket my horse when it gets to the low 30s because she is thin (bad teeth) and geriatric.

Absolutely! We used to have Malamutes and they would never want to come in. Even our Pyr cross stays out for hours before we have to go get him lol.

I had a wolf hybrid that would whine to go out, when she was a puppy, and she'd dig a hole in the snow and go to sleep. The dog we have now, has a thick undercoat. My husband didn't grow up with dogs so he worries about our dog if he's out for more than 10 minutes, in the snow. I assure him, our dog is warm and happy and he'll let us know when he wants to come in.
