You put the spring on upside-down when you installed it. The newer ones the spring is flat on both sides. At least mine is but the flat side is supposed to seat in the front of the slide on yours

You want a lighter recoil spring with a suppresor or compensator. Not a heavier one.
@jackinyoubaby26 күн бұрын
Well it actually depends on what ammo you are using and the type of gun and can you are using so I kinda take that back. The DPM is a different design that uses 3 springs that allows for more lee way.

But in another video I saw, Aero recommends no more than 45 ft-lb of torque on this nut, otherwise it would damage the nut in excess of that. Video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/haHdpZ6El7-rgKcfeature=shared

No need to be ashamed of your mistakes brother. I have been making them and will continue to. I will be the first to say I know the ashamed feeling but as long as we are able to admit mistakes as humans and correct them than that shows we are getting better. Thanks for being humble enough to admit that because in the 2A community so many people are afraid too and I think that is why we feel ashamed. Seeing how much you know about firearms and able to admit this really helps me. That is also very important because we should want everyone to speak up when they are having trouble so they can be safe as possible. Thanks for the upload. Got to put this together when I get back home this morning. New sub here!

@@RonBlackstock Bear Creek Arsenal has Glock barrels at very reasonable prices even threaded Stainless Steel 9mm conversion. Plus, they are making carbines that use Glock magazines in 10mm and 45 ACP, but I like the ones Ruger has made in 9mm and 45 ACP. Gowutar makes great RMR and RMSc size dot sites the 300 Lumens Streamlight TLR-6 HL for Glock railed pistols with 3 rechargeable batteries, a single charger, and a cable is awesome. I plan on investing in Dove AMS’ DoveDOT Mounting Plate Kit so don't have to have my slides cut to mount my Dot sights plus have backup irons too.

Pull the tab out from under the battery, make sure the battery is in the correct way and you won't see the light on NV1 or NV2 and probably 1 through 3 maybe even 4 after that you should see the light. If not buy a new CR163R battery

Have a friend that wants to duplicate this build. What/Which Griffin suppressor is that? Or does that griffin adapter work with other manufacturers?
@RonBlackstock3 ай бұрын
The supressor is a Dead Air Wolfman. I got the Griffin Armament piston that is compatible with the Dead Air booster. It was the only option that I could find at the time. The piston and booster assembly from Dead Air is constantly sold out everywhere I was looking. I had to buy the threaded qdc adapter separately. It is also available through Griffin Armament. It's a little more expensive this way but it was the only option I could come up with since the booster assembly from Dead Air is constantly sold out. Thanks for watching brother. I hope that cleared things up for you.

Get a purse dude😂😂. You don't need all that trash. Handgun (G19 or G43X), at least an extra mag, knife, maze, wallet, phone, headphones, regular black watch, & glasses. That's it. That's a Real Man's EDC. Other than that, get a fckg 👛. 😂😂. You don't need a pad, a pen nor a fancy "smart" watch, nor anything else.
@Everyday_Railroading3 ай бұрын
I'm confused. So, you're shooting 4" lower than where you're aiming? There is a much easier way to do this. Aim at a specific point, take your shots, then move the dot to where you were hitting by adjusting the turrets. Why are you zeroing it shooting low?
@RonBlackstock3 ай бұрын
Height over bore. The red dot sits a couple inches above the barrel. If you put the red dot on any specific point, your barrel will naturally be aimed a couple inches below where you're actually aiming. I hope that helped to clear some things up. Thanks for watching brother.
@Everyday_Railroading3 ай бұрын
@RonBlackstock - I understand what you're saying, but still confused. So, if you were to shoot exactly where you have your bulls eye, you're actual point of impact is 3 to 4" lower based on how you're zeroing it. Is that not accurate? So, aren't you always going to be impacting lower than where you are aiming based on how you have it zeroed? Out to distance, you're going to be even lower. Don't you want to be hitting exactly where you are aiming not lower? I've never seen someone purposely site there gun in to shoot low.
@jonathanmendoza27493 ай бұрын
I am wondering the same thing. Super confused on why you aren’t zeroing the red dot to the spot you were aiming at.

Explain to me as a new shooter how you would zero a red dot for an ar15 also with a magnifier if you can, I’m new and just got this setup
@jonathanmendoza27492 ай бұрын
@@bestinstallerever1043 I’m not an expert but from my understanding you shoot then check the target and make adjustments to the red dot as needed. You can probably find a better explaining video. I’m hoping to hit the range tomorrow and I’ll do the same thing as I said above
