Hello, recently i bought mazda 6 gh 2.0 diesel, when i switch to 6 gear and accelerate there are vibrations appear even at 2000 rpm, other gears works fine. Do i need to change the oil in gearbox?
@seriously-learntodrive Жыл бұрын
As your in 6th gear, that says your on the motorway. I'm guessing as you build up speed the vibrations start. If you are feeling the vibration through your seat, it could be your rear wheels need balancing. If through the steering wheel then it would be the front wheels.
@xtremeboy94 Жыл бұрын
@@seriously-learntodrive It's not wheels balance i recently changed tyres and balanced in workshop. Driving 100-120 km/h on 5th gear is ok, On 6th gear at the same speed vibrations through seat and steer, goes from somewhere In front.I wonder to know maybe its 6 gear demaged or drive shaft problem?

Nope, pulled the sump off to check the stainer was not blocked. Because if that blocks, because an injector had a seal that leaked carbon particles into the sump and blocked it, you kill the engine.

I read somewhere that if the DPF light is just flashing then it's a service interval trigger but if it's on solid it's the chain. Do you know this to be correct. I'm a bit concerned as I just had a flashing light and looking it up led me to believe it was just the service light which I then reset by grounding a pin in the fuse box but it seems like I may have dismissed something potentially more important.

The chain can stretch and the dpf light will stay off, until there is a 10 degree difference between the two cogs the timing chain sits on. When the difference reaches 10 degrees the dpf light turns on.

Hi! Can i fix with this tool the code P1922 - Fuel Additive Level Circuit low ? Or do i have to change the additive tank? Thank you for your answer.
@seriously-learntodrive3 жыл бұрын
Circuit low usually is a problem with either wiring, instrument or the computer module. In this case the forscan tool may not help you fix this problem. It is really trying to find were the problem is. It could be an electrical connection, poor electrical grounding etc. If you replace the tank you might still have a p1922, as it could be something else other than the tank.

Hi Mate, firstly thanks for this great video. My sisters 2010 Mazda 6 2.2 is giving me a reading of 10.7 when using forscan android. I can hear a lot of rattling coming from the chain area. Would you advise not to drive it until it's sorted? Is 10.7 excessive?
@seriously-learntodrive3 жыл бұрын
Hi. 10.5 degrees is the limit. A good idea if the timing chain has not been replaced before, if you phone Mazda and ask them about the technical service bulletin, as there was a recall on replacing timing chains, and the cost should be taken up by Mazda. In the mean time if you need to drive then do so carefully.

Forscan lite, has some function removed. If you want more function then you will have to get the Windows version, and if you want further function that are even more intrusive then you will have to obtain the extended licence. So using forscan lite is generally safe.

@@rockerholger you can do it both ways as it does not matter. As long as you have filled the tank, you can prime the pump as this fills the pump and piping with the fluid. Resetting the refill is there to tell the car that it has been filled.

C1 means low saps. It stand for Sulphated Ash, Phosphorous, and Sulphur. If you have a diesel particular filter (dpf) you want low saps otherwise I'm told by Mazda the filter will clog up more frequently. I think both the diesel and petrol take the same viscosity oil: 5w 30
