I am thinking about moving to Houston. I am single so a condo would be a good fit for me. However the condos are in the Houston area and not in the suburbs of Houston. Are there any condos anywhere else in Houston?

No garage, layout look like it was thrown together. What if you have guest over for dinner party. No dinning area. No place to put a kitchen table and chairs. Not worth the money.

I’m trying to find out if Lake Conroe actually floods upstream of the dam. My mom likes that area and that’s why I really need to find out this information.

@@livinginhtx yes way more honesty but also new constructions like this one are non-existent. How bad the flooding situation gets in Conroe?

Just curious as to where this is. We bought a home in Montgomery for $130k thats only 1k sq ft and barely a yard at all. Literally our back yard is 6 ft wide. It now appraises for $185k because it's across the highway from Lake Comroe. However, there is no park or anything for kids to enjoy and the HOA is awful and a whole lot of thieves, pocketing the yearly dues and not doing or taking care of anything they charge for. So this is why I'm wondering exactly where this community is.

Lovely home. The same builder is also up a bit north from this area in Woodland Hills. I’d like to see upscale appliances, range, etc in the kitchen but just can’t make a sub zero refrigerator work in these floor plans. I guess it’s all a matter of perspective but I think it’s a bit inaccurate to suggest it gets cold here, and certainly not for 4 months. If you’re coming from what is traditionally a cold weather climate, you can expect about 2 weeks of what we call a Texas Winter. Perhaps a month to 6 weeks of weather where you may need a jacket. Regarding your question about having a dedicated media room, yes I prefer one as I want to control the lighting which is important, especially if you want a projector in the room.

Nice home, living room is really a kitchen TV space. Fireplace is really cheap looking with the "wood". Kitchen cupboards are in all the rentals in Houston. Builder grade. There is a BIG profit in this house. What is the price of this house. It is optioned and it myst be over $400.K.

Wooden houses for 137k, I'll never understand how Americans have been tricked to think that this is normal. Always looked like a temporary society to me. Why not make it with bricks, mortar and CONCRETE like every other place in the world? Oh I forgot.. building codes this... it's a country where wood and timber are in abundance... nothing but DECEPTION. A LONG CON

He keeps going on an on about how great the ceiling height is in the living room. Why didn't they make it the same height as all the other rooms and make another bedroom in that area? What a waste of space.

I appreciate videos like this, but I mean come on... I hate when realtors try to make a bunch of cheap mass produced houses sound luxurious. Just be honest about it, these houses are made out of the cheapest stock materials possible. If a tornado comes through there, they will be found a mile away in splinters. The floor at 2:09 is not 'luxury' vinyl plank, it is literally just vinyl plank which is made out of cheap plastic. That 'nice lush' St. Augustine Grass at 3:30 will be a dried crisp within months due to no trees and persistent sun. The 'loft' is not a bedroom, nobody has ever called a space like that a bedroom until now. Look, I grew up in a house this size. But it was built in the '40s and made of brick. Homes this size are cool, but lets not pretend that DR Horton made a quality product here. This is literally cheap crap that has been marked up 200% to pad their pockets.

Pretty insane that they keep this massive wasted high ceiling space a common trend amongst these homes. That can easily be another bedroom but they decided against it. The loft space counting as a bedroom is false advertising and those true 1 bedroom locations having a full bathroom upstairs is just so stupid. You will never use that area for shit. Terrible design.

Even as a single guy, that works from home, I would go for the bigger one. I need to have a work from home office that is closed for privacy, obviously I need a bedroom and I guess I could use the loft space for visitors, set like a sofabed or something. Not ideal, but at 200k is manageable. Would like to see better, more modern fixtures and more modern looking things likes like lights and ceiling fans and so on, its cheap to change but I don't really want to waste the time doing it
