It is indeed a complement 😊 I think the theremin fits with the general vibe of the show perfectly. In fact it would be cool if in a modern adaptation, Sherlock plays the theremin instead of the violin.

@@miquette Dear Mrs. Miquette, I want to thank you all for the fantastic work you delivered. The melody and harmonies deeply moved me, and I let myself be completely carried away. Your performance was truly phenomenal. The instrument you played was unknown to me, but the beautiful and realistic sounds that came from it made me think you were a magician. 😉👍 I did some research afterwards and learned something new. The theremin is truly something phenomenal, and I am impressed by the sounds it produces. I have listened to the performance multiple times and saved my favorites to enjoy again and again. Once again, thank you very much for this amazing contribution. Although I have never before wished to learn an instrument, I would love to learn this one. Unfortunately, I think it is too difficult, and I should have been younger to learn it. I am also a great fan and admirer of Maestro Yaskawa with his magical harmonies and enchanting melodies, which you both performed so fantastically from a distance! What a wonderful idea and result! Bravo to both of you. I have few words to thank you both.

I'm glad you've been listening to it repeatedly😄 Like many others, I began playing the theremin as an adult. If you're considering it, it's never too late to start. Personally, I turned to the theremin when a finger disorder made playing the piano impossible due to pain. Even if you're proficient with the piano perfectly, the theremin offers a unique freedom and challenge that you might find surprisingly enjoyable.

The Theremin is a very difficult instrument to master, and it's one of the very rare instruments in the whole world..... The rendition of Telstar sounded awesome in this....!!!! Great job... Ma'am!!! Greetings from an Indian living in Kathmandu, Nepal... :)

Thanks for listening. I am glad to get your message from the glorious city of Kathmandu. The theremin is a bit difficult to master, but it is a fun instrument. It is rather popular in Japan. Is it quite rare in Nepal? Recently, however, the American company moog, which manufactures the Etherwave Theremin, moved its production base to China. This has raised concerns about whether or not theremins that work properly at a relatively reasonable price will continue to be distributed safely around the world. I hope that we will continue to be able to obtain a playable Theremin in the future.

This theremin is modern. You can adjust several things, maybe it's like a synthesizer and it gives you an orchestra of different instruments. You can probably adjust the modulations, etc. ...
