Im been in ER cus i fell down CT scan thank God no broken ribs and organs stable just the concoctions bad but CT san shows multiple little nugglles in my lungs. Im going to lung doctor. I m concern can be cancer or not... thank you, Dr. Hogarth now i have an idea hows this diagnosis and hows is gonna doctors going to do... im in God hands 🙏 and doctors gonna help whatever i have to get through

I was sent to pulmonology, turns out they had me see a nurse practitioner. No biggie. 12 months SOB. Do a scan to look for something, and we find a cluster of nodules in the right middle lobe. Im freaking out. This woman seems clueless and her bedside manner is horrible. Im seeking a second opinion. This is the type of doctor i want. Someone who explains it all instead of me resorting to google. If this doc told me to wait 12 months for my next scan and explained like this, i probably wouldnt need a second opinion.

The PAE I had done in Calgary, Canada, was a painless day visit at the hospital. However, the following week was brutal - my prostate was most definitely very pissed-off with its new state of affairs! What I used to consider a pain rating of 10 has now become a 4-5 (the pain pushed through any of the pain meds I was taking). However, my prostate originally was 195 mL and 6 months after the procedure it has been reduced to 123 mL - a 37% reduction. This has made a huge difference in my life - a game-changer for sure. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone considering it, and would definitely do it again if required/available years down the road.

I want to ask.they did a pet scan on my lungs. It show 2 one on top. One on bottom. One on my heart. One on right top of lung in the love arch is ground glass. It show on pet scan it's very actived . There is a bleeder in the arota by it. It's very activated. What do that really mean? There very concern about it.

I had my PAE three weeks ago. I’m already experiencing a huge improvement in all of my BPH symptoms. The procedure itself is easy and painless. However, the first 48 hours after the procedure was really rough for me. A lot of pain and very, very frequent urination. Those unpleasant symptoms gradually improved during the first week or so. Now I’m feeling great. Sleeping through the night and peeing like 30 years ago.

Last November ct showed 5 mm lower lobe lung nodule i go tomm for follow up ct.....should i be worried?

I’m a former smoker with a nodule they’ve been watching with ct scans. So the last one showed it had grown a bit and became speculated. So I had a pet scan which lit up the nodule. My pulmonologist said next is bronchoscopy but he has no clue when because I’m low priority and they’re busy. So it’s been 6 weeks and I still don’t know if it’s malignant. If it is malignant, he said no surgery because I also have advanced COPD. In addition, he said no genetic testing because they don’t do that for stage 1

Every year a ct scan they say one nidule looks like it is adnocarcinoma i had one remived why wont the dovsomething .

Oh my goodness! Thank you! I’m in Yorkshire, UK and really wish we were fortunate enough to have someone like you! I moved over 10 years ago, and haven’t seen a Consultant for 10 years (I was told told I worried too much about my lungs!!!!). I wasn’t able to see my original Consultant. My condition was serious to begin with, but now, it’s more than serious. Your patients are incredibly lucky.

I wish he hadn't stopped at 7mm. Mine has grown from 11 to 18mm. Being removed tomorrow.

Having an experienced cytology team is extremely helpful in getting a solid diagnosis also.

Thank you so much for all this information, I’m on my 3 year remission from melanoma and being checked every time some new “bump” comes up here and there, , but the latest one is on one of my lungs and keeps growing, i am to be seen by a pulmonologist for a biopsy (I do not know what type he would suggest) so I really appreciate you educating the patients to ask the right questions.

Im 6 months into scanning with definite breast lymphnode cancer was in both breast then suddenly only in 1 breast. Nodgles all over the lungs never smoked but asthma and on steroids my whole life.😢😢😢😢😢😢

Wish he were my doctor. I saw a lung nodule on my note before I was able to convince my doctors to look for a tumor somewhere. They immediately said its nothing, its common and 4-5mm. Eventually I got the MRI that I asked for (6 mos later). I had a large kindey tumor. Nephrectomy 2 months later. Then... I had shortness of breath 6 mos after surgery. I got a frantic email from internal medicine saying "youre lung nodule grew! it could be that!" and I was thinking... didn't you all just dismiss that 6 mos ago? My oncologist also didnt comment on it at all when he reviewed my CT 1 mo before their email. ALL THIS TO SAY--- God Bless you for posting this. I am still confused a bit but it helped me believe there is a doctor out there who knows this well.

I have a long urethral stricture that keeps reoccurring near the bladder sphincter. The cause of my stricture is unknown. I also have a lot of weird health problems like multiple infections like lyme disease, salmonellosis and pertussis, i have psychiatric problems like anxiety disorder, autism, depression and adhd, articular problems, hyperlaxity, undescended testes and i had severe asthma and allergiesas a child. Do I have a weird syndrome or something ? help ? 😢

I am 25 years old and my urethral stricture keeps reoccurring and gets worse. I had 2 urethrotomies and 1 urethroplasty, but they didn't work. I wanted to try optilume but the doc says that it is not a good idea because the stricture is too close to the bladder sphincter. What do you think ?

I just had a chest x-ray and am going for a CT scan on the 14th of this month. Mine says the left hilum is enlarged concerning for adenopathy/mass with bilateral pulmonary nodules. Malignancy cannot be excluded. CT scan is needed.
