I've started on a build and have been working on it for a good fee months. I don't know what I am doing, and have the nerve to change damn near every thing. When I first opened the box, I spent alot of the time locating what goes to what like you. The directions also don't inform you on which glue is for what type of piece in the kit.

Nice to see it completely assembled! I like the idea of using fabric tape instead of glue, it is less destructive. Once I get to use fabric for my future projects, I will give those a try. Thanks for sharing!

6 hours of couch assembly condensed into 10 mins. I did have to take a break and reward myself with snacks for getting through it.

Keep the fancy tool! 😄The bone folder might come in handy if you need to fold thicker paper like cardstock or greeting cards.

Very true! I’ll still probably use it for other things but it just wasn’t a sharp enough edge for the tiny little folds

It’s really easy to get excited and start buying a lot of tools. But I realized less is more. Sometimes something basic can do the same function as a fancy tool (looking at you, bone folder 🤔)

I think it's a good idea to use a double sided tape for the fake table. That way it's not permanent and it doesn't damage the table from the kit. I was going to suggest adding magnets but that would be a stretch.

That’s a good idea! I was looking at adhesive dots but was worried it was make too much of a gap between the two tops.
